Default Tell me everything there is to know about max Req. 7 weapons

I'm curious. Are there gold req 7s? Are there inscribable req 7s? Are there req 7s with 15^50? How much are they worth on the market? Etc, etc.

They are useless because having 7 8 or 9..10.11...12...13 makes no difference if the weapon is at maximum damage...

Really, it just enables you to use lower attributes.. but that means lower crit chances too. But you can do max dmg at that attribute if you meet it..

Req7 max damage items don't drop anymore, regardless of what people say. Also no max req7 inscribable items exist. Req8s do, they are rare, but not req7s.

15^50 req7s do exist, i've had a few and sold them all. Mainly due to them being entirely pointless.

All you really need to know about req7s is they are extremely rare and fools in high end will give you ridiculously obscene amounts of ectos for them.

If you want to know how much they're worth, i sold a req7 15^50 Long Sword for 1,040 ectos, and a req7 15^50 Flamberge for 19 armbraces. This was all in the last few months also.

Like Gift3d said, they are extremely rare, and as Chrisworld said, they perform no better than any other weapon unless you are running with your weapon attribute at the listed req of the weapon.

Weapons deal their max base damage at an attribute investment of 12. Once you go higher than 12, they deal more damage, but at a lesser increment than the progression up to 12.

Req 7 weapons will deal more damage at an attribute investment of 7 than a weapon with a higher req at an attribute investment of 7, but honestly, wtf, if you are using the weapon for damage, it's not going to do max base damage until you have an attribute investment of 12 anyways, so it's pretty much pointless, except for the rarity (e-peen) factor.

Having a higher or lower attribute for a weapon can influence your crit chances, and of course affect the power of your skills.

The only thing a req 7 weapon let you do is use the full damage range of the weapon equiped at req 7. In other words, if you don't meet your req, you weapon will do about as much damage as a starter weapon. If you don't meet a req 9 wand, you'll be doing damage like you are holding a 2-4 damage no-req wand.

Shield's Armor rating and Bonus Energy (like from a caster off-hand) is generally halved if you don't meet the req. 16 Armor becomes 8, and +12 energy becomes +6.

Having a req 7 is useful if you want to obtain the item bonus, but don't want to invest heavily in an attribute. Also, if you are willing to lessen your item's attribute to invest higher in another one, req 7 would let you do that.

Req 7, max damage weapons are pretty rare, and are valuable because of their rareness.

The practicality for using a req 7 weapon with a req 7 attribute was lessened with a semi-recent buff to weakness that reduces your attributes by 1. If you find yourself with stats not meeting your req, you'll do significantly less damage.

Req 7 Max dmg golds havent been confirmed drop since Nightfall release. theyre extreamly rare, and useless and Expensive..

Max Req 7 items there is: Staffs, Offhands, Shields, Axes, hammers, Swords.
Atleast Ive never seen wand/bow

Req 7 Price Generally Depends on stats, as low as 5k for bad stats. as high as 2000e would be possible for good stats.

And AS there havent been confirmed max r7 drop since nf release. there isnt inscriable versions.

Theres loads speculation about that Gaile Gray said 1.5year ago that r7 still drop.
That some ppl have told that sure r7 drop. but not max. and some ppl think max r7's still drop..

we'll see if we see some confirmed r7 drops soon
