Today my account was hacked - Guild Wars Forums

i can not get into my account and can not get into my email because of the hacker. i know who it was to, do not post names because of trade we made where she felt she was ripped off kept telling me she was coming to my house and going to kill me due to a voltaic spear trade.the next day she tells me my name which she said she got from my ip through gw. this ip is what led to her hacking me. my question is what will gw do about this and will i get my account back?

my most expensive items were 144k cash,197ectos,unded kunna, and ded oni. if these r gone do i get em back

You have to contact Anet, posting here is not going to get your account back, however harsh and stern that sounds. The Guru community can't do anything except have sympathy for you, if it's genuine. Contact Anet customer support and take it from there.

no but seriously contact support, if you were hacked and items removed you wont get them back. very sorry hopefully support will be fast and able to get your account back.

Also i diddnt know it was possible to hack someone with just there IP? If so that is a very brutal hack.

you might want to run some anti-virus/spyware scans to make sure you diddnt get hit with a key logger.

someone tried to hack me last night 2, i was like hi heart attack 0=,good i was online and rushed to anet and changed pw x]

Do you have any chat logs off her/him threatening you, cause if so I suggest you be an ass and sic the RL cops on her for the lols.

I would reccomend you get your screenshots (if any) or contact anet to fix this.. alert them about the logs and they will do the FBI magic. Her ass will get fried for life if she really did hack you and get that information.
