Default Luxon skills without the grind?

Im looking to get one of the Luxon skills but hate the grind of farming faction points. Im not that big a fan of the Factions campaign but i really want that skill. so my first question is can a person buy luxon faction from another player or guild? If not is there a quick way of getting the first rank in the luxon title without having to PvP? I have 20,000 points in it now(80,000 to go). Thank you for your time.

PvP is actually one of the slowest ways to get faction now. You can vanquish any Luxon area and you'll get a sizeble chuck of faction for killing everything while under the Luxon Blessing you pick up at res shrines, as well as around ~20k worth of faction when you finish.

You cannot buy faction from other players.

You can do missions/quests to gain faction.

You can vanquish Luxon areas. Link to the charts for vanquishing, which show the amount of faction rewarded when completed http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Vanquisher
This does not include the amount of faction per kill.

You can do Fort Aspenwood or Jade Quarry to gain faction rewards for each match plus kills.

You can also do any Zaishen missions/bounties that award faction.

I assume, since you want Luxon faction, that you belong to a Luxon aligned guild. By donating faction to your guild, you gain double the amount of faction on your title.

I just started back in with Factions for the same reason. I need the Aura of Holy Might skill for my dervish. Otherwise, I wouldn't have got past Kaineng Center.

For me the quickest way to get there is doing the challenge missions (Zos Shivros Channel and the Aurios Mines for Luxon, Altrumm Ruins and Amatz Basin for Kurzick) and donating it to my guild once I get to 5K -- the double points you get that way stack up fast.

If you started Factions just yesterday, why not play it up to the end? It is not that bad. For example, after you left this %&!??!=) city, you get to one of the most beautiful areas in GW - the Jade sea.

Get yourself the book "Shiros Return" from Anja in Kaineng Center and do all the missions. Then turn in the book to Anja and get up to 40000 Luxon faction if you did all of the Factions missions. Additionally, the Luxon-side missions also give you Luxon faction you can spend at double rate. Getting masters in the missions give you most faction. On your way from mission outpost to mission outpost in the jade sea, get the Luxon blessing from the shrine priests and kill a lot of enemies (don't rush through). This also gives you Luxon faction you can spend at double rate.

At the end you played through Factions and got Luxon 1 without the hassle of farming.

And Silmar's suggestion would also give you more power for your skill. Like all such skills, the more levels the more powerful it is. And once you finish the game, you can vanquish areas over and over for high faction gains.
