Default Dedicating Minipets

This is a weird question, but if you dedicate a minipet in your hall of monuments, and you then sell/trash/whatever your minipet, will it still stay in the hall of monuments?

Unless you really want it in your hall for some reason i'd suggest you just hold onto it.

Minis are worth more unded, and Anet hasn't released any info saying that minis we dedicate will do anythin more than just give a lil sign above our head in GW 2 saying "This user dedicated a Minipet in GW1"

Ok, thanks for the info.

I already dedicated like 10 mini's to my hall, but they are all 3k or less in value, so I don't really care about that. I was just wondering, since I have them dedicated, and I don't really care if I still have them available to bring out in town, if I could trash them, and they would stay.

for this i agree up to a point. i have several girls with full mini part in hom. only minis i can see being worth anything to hold onto are greens, some golds and grapes and rare ones. otherwise add it to hom then trash it unless you like that particually mini. *cuddles mini white rabbit*

For an alternative viewpoint, I dedicate and keep at least one of every mini that I acquire. So if I happen to get a mini polar bear drop, it's going straight in my HoM and never being sold. Sure - it takes up a fair amount of space, but that's what spare characters are for.

Now, if I were to get a second one ... I'd be in a much better position to acquire high-end minis.

Also, rather then "trashing" them... give them out by storage. Many of us don't care if they are dedicated or not.. we just find them fun to pull out sometimes. I have gotten a few by people just giving them away at storage.
