Default Dual attacks

What is the difference in time between the first strike and the second one? Also, does the activation of the next attack skill follow the first strike or second one?

Thanks.

The time between the first and second hit wit ha dual attack depends a lot on whether a speed boost is being used.

I do know you can activate another skill to be used after the first hit.

Is this a relevant meaningful question anyway?

Dual Attacks are double strikes, and this is what Guildwiki tells about double strikes:

Quote:
A double strike is a form of attack made by assassins, in which both daggers strike at once. The chance of performing a double strike with a normal attack is increased by 2% with each rank in Dagger Mastery. Locust's Fury, an elite skill in the Critical Strikes attribute, increases the chance of such a double strike by 50%.

Dual Attacks automatically double strike, while all other attack skills are incapable of double striking.
It tells "...at once". If I judge the delay in both attacks from the slashing sounds, I'd say it is perhaps 1/4s. But that is most likely only a sound thing to be able to recognize both sounds as distinct. If you have jealous daggers, you see the +1 energy message from both attacks appear immediately without delay, as well as the regular damage messages, so I say it is really "at once".

Well, when you use a dual attack like Blades of Steel, the damage pop ups for the two attacks are delayed. Also, if you watch the target's health bar you will see that there is a delay between the two chunks of health taken away.

It is important to note that dual attacks do not necessarily always hit twice. They have independent miss chances, are blocked independently, and there is about 1/8th of a second time period between the first and second attack, which means that it can actually be half way interrupted.
