Default Merging Accounts?

Recently my friend stopped playing Guild Wars and I asked him for his account, he agreed to give it to me. I have the access key and everything and was wondering if you deleted his account entirely, then you can use the access key on your own account? Will this work?

No that will not work.

Also, accounts are non-transferable.

no, account keys can only be added to your own account at creation. if the other account already exists as a stand alone, it cannot be added.

but i would suggest you try to put it on an NCsoft Master account that belongs to you, giving you complete control over the account. i don't know if ur friend has it attached to a master account or not...

Well, there isn't any way for you to delete his account. If you contact support, they could maybe delete the account, but they would "delete" the access key too. So, no, you can't use the access key again.

It's against the EULA (license agreement) to sell, or even give, your account to someone else, so it would be best to keep quiet about it. (or should I say, would have been.)
