Need some advice - Guild Wars Forums

Hi there everyone,

I just decided to go back to GW

But I only have one problem, I have really no idea what to choose as prof

I like:
- big numbers floating in the screen
- is good to farm with
- Pve and PvP both acceptable to play
- easy to learn to play and after some while also bit more experiened
- and a lot of fun

Warrior, Ritualist, Assassin, Necromancer. If you want to PvP seriously though you should do so with a PvP character.

It depends on what thing you like to do if you like doing things with a group and gain some decent items i advice you to play assasin and go do some dungeon sc's (pve afc) but if you like doing things on your own and practise with some stuf go do missions.

if you like more to play with people against other people go HA and play some lameway's like bbsway or wota that is very easy to learn since it is ''woooooooow i just learned how to press 1,2,3,4,5,6 or whatever order it is.

Never go RA before their gonna be a meta change/update since its lame with al those esurge/bsurge you name it.

This is also for HA but playing lame team builds against lame teambuilds is easier.

but anyway if you want to play PVP my advice is play to get experience even after people rage you just dont quit and go do some observe (if you didnt chaged it is the keybind ''B'' incase you dont know).

GL & HF on playing ow and the see meta stuff or guides or whatever you need pvx.wikia.com or guildwars.wikia.com (for some random info) are your friends.

Assassin is the first that comes to mind.
Lots of farming options with Shadow Form.
Big numbers depending on your build, both in pve(farm)/pve(general) and pvp.
Popular in pve and pvp.
Very easy to play, but also fun.

All in all the Assassin is a great class for you.

That said, Warrior comes next.
Lots of farming options (UW/Raptors/Vaettirs etc)
Big numbers in both pve and pvp and most importantly, Knockdowns.
Easy to play and great fun.

I play warrior, and you really get addicted to killing lvl 24+ foes in 3-4 hits.

Those are the two classes I think would fit your needs best.

My main is a warrior which is a very versatile profession. It is also easy to play for early areas but has many specialty skills for more experienced players.
