Default Difference between Dedicated and Undedicated HoM Offhands

Hi all,

I'm just recently working on my Valor HoM monument and i'll would like to know how can i differenciate between Dedicated or Undedicated offhands (shields and focus) so that I can buy them and not get scammed on the way. Is there any difference at all, like and advertising similar with pets or something?

Thanks in advance.

Weapons and off-hands that are dedicated in the HoM are customised to the owner of the HoM, so in the stats description you'll see "Customised to Player X" together with the damage bonus. You won't be able to equip the item on your own character.

To avoid getting scammed, always check the item description in the trade window before clicking accept.

The trade window will also warn you if the other person is trying to give you a dedicated mini or a customized weapon.

This, as well as a message that will pop up and tell you that [Dedicated weapons] are already dedicated and ask if you want to continue the transaction.

also something to note..

1 destroyer focus
1 tormented focus
1 oppressor focus
1 destroyer shield
1 tormented shield
1 oppressor shield

= HoM

do not try and dedicate 2 of the same type...

not totally related but i know a lot of people get confused

(a destroyer protection staff and a destroyer fire staff only = 1 thing in HoM)

OK Don't Panic, I currently have 11 weapons in my HoM. Two of them are staves (tormented and oppressor), two are shields (destroyer and oppressor). I get credit for having a full, 11-item Valor monument. so YES, two of the same type DO count.

EDIT: Aha, sorry, I read that as "two items of any type", not two items with different attributes. my bad.

2 destroyer staffs are the same in HoM even if it is for different classes. Destroyer staff and tormented staff are 2 different things even if they have identical stats and req.
