Looking for some advice - Guild Wars Forums

So, i have been playing GW for 1.5 years, and i really want to get gwamm on my assassin, but all of my other characters keep distracting me from this task

. im debating whether i should delete all my other characters so i can focus on my assassin, even though they are all very well equiped(i mean like elite armor and all[and in some cases black]), because that might help me focus more

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated(critisicm too i dont really care^^)

p.s. i didnt know exactly where to post this so i posted here.

Deleting all your other characters will likely be the worst thing you could do and will likely regret it in the future, especially when birthday presents are involved. An alternate suggestion would be to either strip them and/or turn them into mules.

Striping them will give you less of an incentive and desire to play them, knowing they are not optimized.

Turning them into mules has a similar, but lesser effect, if knowing they are loaded up with so much s*it that you may not want to bring them out. (Though seeing screen-shots of people's Inventory/bags here on Guru, it seems some people are quite contented carrying so much cr*p around.

just ask yourself: How badly do you want to obtain GWAMM?

when you REALLY REALLY want it you should have loads of spare time in the first place..
when you HAVE loads of time, try doing something fun for an hour, then something less fun. in this way you don't get bored that easily and stick to this toon.

deleting all toons would be a waste.. they can e.g. be used to farm, or sc (mesmer for DoA ftw.)you will need a couple of bucks to complete the money titles.

If your that easily distracted from your goal deleting characters isnt going to help.

There might be a more radical idea and that is to stop reading this or any other forum and do not visit the GW 1 or 2 pages, and try not to see any in game messages on the start page.

That should stop you being tempted by new build ideas and game events allowing you to focus.

I got gwamm on my Rt in four months.

Either make up your mind and achieve a set of goals, or don't.

In any case, deleting a character is plain silly.

Don't delete any charrs...just focus on your main character, assassin, and with a bit of will you'll achieve GWAMM in 3 or 4 months. You can also make the other toons as storage characters for holding your valuable items, runes etc.

Also, Glint afk farm ftw!
