Default How do you invite other people to play guild wars with you?

I've been trying to find this out for a while. How do you get an email sent out to them to come play with you?

Hm, yeah. that's what I figured since I've asked other players in the game and they have no clue.

I used to pug and when I was with an especially successful pug or liked some of the people in the pug I made a note of their guild.

Then I sort out those guilds where possible when pugging.
Then I got an invite to a great guild and been there ever since.

Mainly I now go with seven heroes and only go with other players when circumstances make that happen.
Usually someone asking for help.

The daily Zaishen bounties are good for playing with people, HM only really however.

My advice find a friendly guild which suits you, if you are in need of one I am more than happy to take you on board and help, since you must be a decent person (just about everyone is who uses this forum)

PM me if you need any help or advice

I'm a newbie so I am a bit confused with some of the things you both have mentioned. What is pugging? And what/where is the Zaishen bounties?

Also, how many guilds is one allowed to join? (sorry for the extra questions but I didn't feel like making this into another thread).

Venganza, thanks for the offer! I will def consider.

A pug is a pick-up group, a random group of people who are teaming up for a particular mission or other objective. In an outpost, open the party search panel to see people looking for a team.

Zaishen Quests are daily quests that give extra rewards for doing certain jobs. They are located in the Great Temple of Balthazar (GToB) and Embark Beach (EB). If you have not unlocked travel to GToB yet, most outposts feature a Zaishen Scout that will zone you to EB.

You can only join one guild at a time. You can always leave whenever you want.

Most of the terms used here is found in the sticky post at the top of this sub forum, as well they can be found on both wikis: Here or here. Zaishen quests (aka Zaishen challenge quests) can be found here.

Most of the larger faction-related guilds actively recruit new member all the time. So standing in a major town (such as Kaineng Center) you may (or rather will) get asked to join if they see no guild tag beside your name. That said, if you been pugging with several players from the same guild and you like them, you could always ask if you can join their guild.

Keep this in mind: you can join and leave a guild anytime you wish. Do not feel pressured into staying with a guild if you no longer like the atmosphere of that guild and/or their alliance.

Apologies VivaValiente I used game acronyms without thinking.

When you are in a town with other players press P this shows you who else in the town is looking to form a party.

If you just want someone in the game to perform a small task such as opening the gate in presearing prophesies or team up to get the resurrection signet then it is ok to just ask in direct chat.

If there is a chat filter for what your asking such as buying or selling then use that filter so your not yelling in general chat and annoying everyone,
Be reasonable, asking endlessly is annoying there may just be no one around to help you in that district.

Good luck

I think maybe he means how he has to pm people? Which basically is done by writing their name in the "Whisper" part of your chat log and writing something to them... You can also click their name in All/Team/Guild/Alliance/Trade chat and you can whisper them that way as well
