Default Black Moa Chick / Fast Travel

Hi guys, just a couple of questions about getting my Black Moa Chick.

I have all of my items except the Volcanic Rock which I'm trying to get from someone else as I haven't started the Prophecies campaign yet, but as soon as I have this I will need to head to Sorrow's Furnace to hatch it.

I'm aware I need someone in the party with the quest A Final Assault, but is it possible to fast travel to this location if the other member initiates this?

Or do I need to unlock that area first before my group can fast travel there?

Seems I have a big run on my hands if not!

You have to bring your character to Deldrimor Warcamp yourselves or get a runner to this outpost. You cannot jump into Sorrow's Furnace from everywhere.

If you didn't play Prophecies yet, take the opportunity now and start playing it instead of paying people to run you through everything. You're missing a lot of content you paid real money for.

Thanks Silmar

I haven't actually paid anyone for a run through either. I've been doing it all myself, I just want to finish each campaign before starting a new one (currently Nightfall). But I can only get the Volcanic Rock from Prophecies if I get to like the 23rd mission or something.

Looks like the long walk is on!

Yeah, to get the rock you have to do almost all the missions. And to get to Deldrimor War Camp you have to walk a ways no matter way. The easiest route probably goes from Droknar's Forge through Camp Rankor. But getting to Droknar's Forge will take a bunch of missions, too. The alternative is to walk down from Beacon's Perch. But, since you're not from Tyria, you'll have to first walk there from Lion's Arch. And then when you go south from Beacon's Perch, you'll only have 5 heroes with you, which will probably be a little bit of a pain. But with full hero parties it shouldn't be very hard.

(I just picked up a rock while vanquishing Perdition Rock, and I'm not planning to make a black moa chick any time soon. It's yours if you catch me online. IGN Pyrthas Cannelbrae)

Thanks a lot Pyrthas I'll add you to my friends list and hopefully see you on sometime.

Lion's Arch > Scoundrel's Rise > Griffin's Mouth > Deldrimor Bowl > Beacon's Perch > Lornar's Pass > Dreadnought's Drift > Snake Dance > Deldrimor War Camp

That should keep me occupied if you're not about!

Can i just point out that from beacons to warcamp is a big job - beacons is the last outpost you will see untill you reach warcamp and it will be one big slogfest so make sure you have plenty dp removal and if you have some - summoning stones. You will be facing kd from giants , spellbreaker griffins( not sure if they past grenths exit ) , giant wurms , nightmares with kd , caromi ( these guys here aint pussies ) and plenty of stone summit dwarves.
Biggest tip i can give is go to wiki and check each zone`s foes so you know exactly what you will be facing.
Ps dreadnaughts drift is a bitch as res shrine near start gets hit by 2 patrols and if u die and res right next to the patrols they will decimate you easily - the patrols are big mobs with mixed melee, casters

IMO it's easier just to do LA > run to Sanctum Cay > Ascension missions x3 + Augury Rock > Dragon's Lair. That takes you to Droknar's Forge and it's straight forward from there to get to the War Camp.

Beacons to Snakedance is not that hard, just have decent hero's. I have done that walk several times, It's not like you'll be in HM going after every mob VQ'n It is time consuming and somewhat tedious, but not overly hard especially in NM.

Just for future reference, you can't enter scoundrel's rise from lion;s arch, need to go through North Kryta Province.

Also I would advice to unlock Gates of Kryta mission outpost while youre there. it's another portal from Scoundrel's rise (to the south). The detour only takes 2-3 minutes max when you do it on this walk, but you have to go all the way from lion;s arch or beacon's again if you want to do it later.

Thanks to thunder boy for the trade last night

I got to Beacon's Perch last night and figured I'd have a bash at getting to Deldrimor War Camp before I hit the sack.

Dreadnought's Drift sure is a bitch
