My first post appears to have been deleted from the thread (something about the original poster spending all that cash on a system he doesn't know how to use ... *chuckle*), but I thought I'd post again to debunk this.

Challenge #1: Set your monitor to 100hz and use your pc for a few hours. Now set it back to 60hz.

Challenge #2: Install an old 3d accelerated game (Quake is a good example). Let it run unhindered for a while at its peak FPS count. Now set the FPS maximum to 60 (cl_maxfps 60 in Quake).

Challenge #3: Believe your eyes, and don't post about the number of detectable frames per second until you have solid proof.

ps: This is hardware dependent, so if you can't run at 100hz or higher than 60fps in Quake then you clearly aren't going to benefit from it.
pps: Nice pics.

Human eyes see 72 fps. Change the refresh on your monitor and you'll see the difference.

Find the medical journal with tests and official proof. Go ahead, I dare ya. I had a CRT monitor at 60hz, it was horrible. I changed it to 75, and it was much better. So, there goes your "proof".
