"plier" is a ballet term. I guess s/he's saying "a big/great plier please".

thats correct.

if you remember the simpsons episode, where bart got ballet lessons maybe?
i guess thats exactly the phrase the teacher uses.

but its a different move than from the picture. thats more the initial move for a pirouette, i guess.
