Default 5 Ales + 1 Farming Run =

Despite what you may think, this picture has not been altered in any way, shape or form. I advise that if you're feeling sleep deprived, do not attempt this because it will really hurt your eyes (as I discovered this morning).

In my old guild, we would all take around 5 ales then gvg...we usually lost, but it was funny nonetheless.

It would be cool if there were observable effects that other people can see, like you stumble around when you walk, etc. Would be funny seeing an entire drunk guild trying to fight.

That looks like an average battle in FFXI... God, they had the most random, pointless "special effects". After about an hour of seeing floating hearts, music notes flying and attacking enemies, and just random... balls and stars and stuff... it stopped being quit so special.
