what about extreme cold?

If this game worked on physics, it'd be plausibe. Making a Hydro your best bet.

very hot metal, that is cooled down very fast, begins to crack and break. This also would take out the possiblily that Fire would be a good choice against him. I mean look at that Molten Lava attack of his. The thing can stand up to nice ammounts of heat.

Make something cool out of what ever he can find (i saw him make a mini rocket launcher out of a telescope once), beat the bad guy, get the girl, credits

I took a small little adventure into SF today... did not get to far due to lag so i did not get a chance to really see anything.. thats a shame, perhaps one day i will find this robot, challenge him, and post many pictures of getting my monk getting crushed... time and time again

What other boss do you need it for?
I don't recall using it for any of the bosses during the main storyline missions.

So NOT any attack will damage it then

I just thought, as an Elementalist, that because I have access to 4 types of magic I'd change my Attribute Points around before I head into the Furnace in order to give me the best chance of whooping some metal butt.

I love the post about the screwdriver, definitely a ROFL

Well the Djinn can do like 400 damage, but the best way to defeat it is to gather in a tight circle, so that his damage is dispersed evenly between all of your party, and his health gain is minimal. For some reason I doubt that this is the same case with this.

On a side note, the whole "huge damage dispersed to adjacent foes" was a suggestion I made to "balance" air damage. Make it the opposite of fire in that clumping together will be the strategy to beat it, rather than spread apart.

did someone here manage to open that door ??? Because yesterday we reached the same place as the pic on the first thread, but we found no way to open the door ... We had completed no quests, do you have to complete all to open the golem's door ?

but it has to be mixed with sand or synthetic diamonds sand

water only transports particles that have higher hardeness than metal you want to cut thru

(that's why this water has white color in those machines to cut metal with waterstream)

I reached that place today, took less than an hour. You dotn actually kill the robot, but 3 portal things around him, and only then the robot dies, and unleashed 3 fiery djins on you, which I havent figured out how to kill (those stompy things dont work afaik) I thought you have to fight the robot, but you dont, you cant even attack or cklick on him XD and it wasnt hard, until the djins came out.

Reminds me of Fantastic Four

Well, if metal is exposed to very cold temperature it would crack like glass. so cold is a good choice against metal (if this game uses physics).

Heat is also good, provided that you alter its state to molten. I was trying to suggest an alternative to heat since it's been suggested a few times

I don't know how the devs set it up tho... there has to be something effective against metal (in general, not always iron). Erosion??
