Default Off to destroy Maw The Mountain Heart..

I don't know why this particular boss fascinates me, I guess it's because he's the biggest boss, and the hardest one to get to. well, we've all probably killed him.. in a group. Krugg wants more than that though.. he sets off to destroy the beast on his own, no henchmen, no other humans.

Setting out on the path known as Snake Dance..

The Stone Summit also roam in this land, sadly Krugg had no way to stop the healing power of the Dolyak Masters, and was forced to run past them, but not without a fight.

Moving past the Stone Summit Dwarves he encountered a group of Mountain Trolls led by Whuup Bumbuul. The trolls were dealt with quickly, but Whuup (cough*cheated and used evasive stances*cough) had a trick or two up his sleeve and Krugg again was forced to abandon his prey.

Further along he encountered Tundra Giants, they make a nice throw rug.

Ambushed by the Azure Shadows, they didn't stand a chance. (oh no you can see my uber skillset D

Finally arrived at the resting place of Maw The Mountain Heart.

Upon entering was met by a herd of Tundra Giants, who had a nice chat with his sword.

Analyzing the situation.. Deciding to wait no longer, sneaking around the groups of Tundra Giants and confronted by the beast that he came to slay.

Halfway down..
http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/3710/maw143ln.jpg

His last breath.. and then sweet victory!

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/2885/maw175vr.jpg

wow that was long! :P in short: I fought down Snake Dance, killed everything in my path EXCEPT the following: a few Giant Herders, the Dolyak Masters, Whuup Bumbuul, the Stone Summit in Dreadnaught's, and the Tundra Giants by Maw. The drops were terrible, so remember that if you try it, it's for fun! :P

Nice. Soloing the strongest boss (besides some Mission related ones) is quite impressive. Though, Indeed, don't do this for the drops, just for the fun

The first thing I noticed was that you didn't bring a Signet of Capture. I had a good laugh.

Then I noticed you didn't even bring the right CLASS! WTF?!?

That is truly vendictive man. ::Shakes his head::

now where's the fun in that? :P I've had run-ins with him in Snake Dance and Grenth's Footprint. Which I guess is why you could say I'm a little vindictive.. He's given me one too many heartattacks, had to get my revenge!

Heh good point. I couldn't even get to him with henchies when I went to cap 'em ages ago. Then again after looking at that screenshot when I finally get 'em.. I still shiver at that skillbar I had. lol.

Er, I don't think he's the hardest boss, I think if you're going to solo a boss, the hardest would be that monk boss at the end of Thunderhead Keep. Lol, if you can actually solo up to that point that is...

no, not the hardest, I said biggest, and hardest to get to. :P (I've been in some bad pugs, it's fine with hench ;p)

Dimitrious (or however you spell his name), is actually pretty easy to kill, (one disrupting chop and you've got it). one of the Sorrows Furnace monk bosses on the other hand, would be challenging, due to them having two copies of Orison of Healing.

you guys should try it sometime, Snake Dance is the hardest part, big Azure Shadow/Blessed Griffon groups are scary. it's not nearly as complicated (or difficult, your pick) as the UW solo build, but it takes a while and is sure to kill an hour or more of boredom. :P

so sorry to put you to sleep Bboy, perhaps if I made fun of a paladin premade you would've had more to say. I have to say you aren't the most creative troll I've seen. (not just referring to this thread, in fact, more referring to other threads) ya know, if everything is so unexciting, boring.. you could refrain from posting all together. "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"? say, "that's lame, boring, and not hard" at least. I'll leave it at that..
