lol, I bought a sup rune before going to school, when I get back from school I farmed some ettins and what do I get?
A Superior Absorbation! I sold the one that dropped and only lost 10k on the whole deal

I made a build were it takes out 3 ettin 24-30 seconds and you can easily take on 6. It's W/R I'll post the build and video when I get home (my teacher is coming) to make this better, try to guess it. I'll post a vid of it too.

Hey there, I've done this run perhaps 20 times, and I got only 2 superior runes(air and water magic) and around 10 purple major runes. I've tried it with my lvl 20 SS necro and lvl 20 Nuker. (I like this is the warrior section)

My question is does it matter if you farm w/ henchies? And are drops enhanced in anyway? I would like to know, because I just want 1 sup vigor rune.

If you have one hench you'll only get half of the drops, if you take 2 you'll get two thirds etc. Henchies are VERY bad for farming.

I could be wrong, but it looks like:

100 Blades
Sever
Gash
Tiger's Fury
Apply Poison
Watch Yourself
Healing Sig
Sprint

In the video he never used Healing Sig or Watch Yourself though

Has anyone else had really bad luck while farming them? I've been at it for hours and I haven't gotten a single gold drop...

I've always had pretty crappy luck with them. My first night I found a Superior Healing and a Superior Vigor, but since then I haven't really found anything worth mentioning. When it comes down to it...for ME...they aren't worth the time. For the time spent, doing FoW or something is much more profitable for me...not to mention much less tedious, lol.

Yea, Levi got it right. You could swap out WY! for anyting you want healing sig is only used after there dead.

4 Sup. Vigors in one week, I feel like the luckiest guy here! I find that if I'm not getting many purples or golds, if i give it a break for a few hours, when i try again I get more. So, over-farming = instant loss! Keep that in mind...

Still attempting to farm this pricks. This guide has helped alot. hopefully the vids help just as much (I'm a visual learning, so I have to see it to understand it completly, kind of a curse actually

hi i use those skills:

Healing Hands
Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Final Trust

I have 14 swordmanship (major), 12 healing and 5 strength (1 minor and knight helm)
I use sundering gladius of fortitude (gold) 15^50, 10/8, +27 hp and malinons shield.
Is this a good ettin build?

its rarther over defensive

you see you got to wrok a balance of offensice and defence

even though with your build you may be invinsible to them , its the killing speed that couts , lower your defence untill you can no longer die while fighting, them put the rest into offence, try this build

live vicously
vigerous spirit
hundred blades
sever artery
gash
galrath slash
final thrust
sprint

9 healing
9 tactics
rest on sword.

the build i use is all offence , it has 1 105 heal during a entire fight with 3 ettins and i take double dmg through frenzy , but yet it rapes them in under 8 secs per ettin.
