I think that the reason as ranger spike does so well in the HOH is because,in every other map u can stand behind a wall becasu rangers need line of sight,BUT no arrows now go through walsl in the HOH lol.

this proves IWAY can kick your ass. blah, blah blah, it sucks, losers use it, it takes no skill, blah. the only reason why i support IWAY is because it's the only reason i get into Tombs groups.

My guild (MATH) runs iway, not a noob one though, iway actually does take skill and the only people who say it doesnt is a sore loser or a noob, if iway never took any skill, how come MATH never ever lost to another iway team? (most matches are not even close and some are even flawlessed), we win hoh at least 5 times a day with iway and we have some people who are almost rank 9 now and most are rank 8. We have defeated many top guilds in tombs (easy, VIKI, boon, whole bunch of r9+ teams, powers team, jennas team, and much more), the only person who has ever told us gg after a match was Jenna's team, Grom's team, and Power's team (after they lost to us too).

IWAY has essentially become a tool that one good group will exploit to steal an altar with a shutdown build. You shut down holding team's monks, they can't maintain aegis or heal through iway, and eventually die or fall back, and the altar is free for your taking. Fortunately for the invading team the IWAY group has no idea that they were just duped and the altar was taken from beneath them, and they continue to attack the formerly holding team for the remaining 5 minutes.

However there are the odd times IWAY does win halls, I've seen it happen, and every time, 100%, without fail, it's because the two other teams that actually have a grasp of HoH gameplay have decided to concentrate on each other and ignore the iway group. Either that, or the team that just lost their Ghostly under 2 minutes hates the team that is trying to cap so much that they'll allocate all interrupts onto it rather than the IWAY's, for some silly grudge or personal vendetta. Basically, what I'm saying is that if you're an IWAY group and you have the altar, it was handed to you on a silver platter. Be thankful.

this is BS. monkless iway based (mod way - whatever way) groups arent not meant to hold an altar. if those groups are holding an altar, its not because "its handed to them on a silver platter.."

Yea, im in MATH too. and i can say you that there is going a lot of speaking on on the ventrilo server. It really needs skill to play iway good.

So you are basically saying every time MATH wins hoh its because we got lucky? We are almost always ganked straight away and people know us now and always go after us, btw we just held hoh for 5 matches today and have held for 3 games many times, you are saying we get lucky every single day?

There is 2 sort of iway :

1) the basic 12 years old kid with his uberwarrior
2) the organized and mature group

Problem is : 99% of iways are #1

Winning the hoh is luck (as lucky as any other team, maybe more), but holding it... don't tell me an iway team can hold an altar if 2 organized teams are in.
