Are those the new 15k pants in the expansion? Do I need monstrous items to craft it?

Anets new punishment system. They don't suspend you anymore, they force you to wear ridiculous clothes that everybody can laugh at.

"XXX, You have been caught scamming/attempting to scam other players. You are hereby required to wear the Clown Pants of Punishment for 48 hours. Thank you."

Someone else posted a screen of this stripy pants thing, but on the monk character creation screen...interesting...
Bug? Or is it: a sneak peek of town clothes monks running around in pyjamas...warrior males with heart-covered white boxers of course

I always thought an unremovable dunce cap that needed "in game time" to wear off would have been a good penalty for social misbehavior.

Of course, some people would go out of their way to get such an item.

That would be so hilarous if Anet did that to your armor's appearance if you've ever been guilty of having your account suspended.

It's a graphics glitch; wrong texture on the wrong place, basically. Which is too bad, because I think the pyjama-pants look better than the real deal.
