Too bad I barely ever visited the "old" Grotto. When I come there now, it seems quite nice though, but I've heard so many people say Grotto used to be way more awesome..
So.. If Grotto is dead, where should I go to chat with GW players? Fisherman's Haven is filled with people who go afk, most are even in a guild called afk :/ |

It's a shame that people need to shed some hate due to the act of being afk or a guild tag [afk].. jeez. Very petty. I personally don't mind any of you afk's in there at all. Kind of adds to the peace.
I do remember some really fun times in ye' ol' Grotto.. I was not directly involved, more just enjoying the festivities and coming back and fro' for some idle time or chat. Sometimes I'm at FH, sometimes not. Although, i'm not involved enough to put a finger on what exactly changed Grotto from great to mediocre. Probably was a busy time for me, or I just simply wasn't paying enough attention. My apologies, I'm usually caught up in PVE or whatnot. It's nice to see some shots from people who had some good times there. Here's to more, somewhere, some time!

I miss the good ol' times in Grotto. Great social atmosphere, random emoting contests and better syncronize dances from a couple of people. But at the end of October it turned into hell. Last time I checked up on Grotto, the atmosphere was something like this....
Player 1: Blah blah blah n00b Player 2: Blah blah blah scrub Player 3: *Random unnecessary profanity* Player 4: *Insulting everyone* Player 5: /rank Player 6: *Arguing with everyone* Player 7: /rank Player 8: *Showing off FoW armor* Player 9: /dance (Naked warrior dancing on an afk person) Player 10: /rank Player 11: *Showing off FoW armor* Player 12: *Showing off FoW armor* Player 13: *Showing off FoW armor* Player 14: *Showing off FoW armor* Player 15: *Showing off FoW armor* Player 16: *Showing off FoW armor* Player 17: /rank Player 18: /rank Player 19: /rank Player 20: /rank Player 21: /rank Player 22: /rank Player 23: /rank Player 4: *Still insulting* Player 6: *Still arguing* I don't know how it is these days, but I heard it's still pretty bad. :| |

Eh... you got your share of good/bad people in there. First time I popped in, there were around 5-10 people making "fun" of anyone who didn't have 15k armor. Saying how we felt inadequate or w/e because we were around all these "leet" people with their armor. I did meet up with a few other rangers and we started dancing though

i still find it a pretty nice place, my ignore list is full of people from there, but if it gets too much with people flashing rank 3 "in my face" and saying "nice ebay armor", i just leave :3
