No pick of it yet but the materials man in Seitung Harbor has a new rare crafting material and new common crafting material.

Brick of Clay 1 (Brick of Mud) 1 (pile of Glittering Dust)
Rare common common

New Crafting materials with no materials to back it up? Shameful! How dare they tease with such a thing!!

Been there for as long as I know. There's a crafter in the Crystal Desert that offers these Clay Bricks. He is a quest NPC as well and if I remember correctly the quest is 1,000xp (starts at Amnoon).

You can throw them at enemies. If you hit their head, it's an INSTAKILL.

I have seen this before im pretty sure. I think I was in Tyria in an explorable area and some merchant was selling/crfting these clay bricks. I think it was in the area right before Yak's Bends zone, where the tombstone is. This was a long time ago so I thought it to be a useless item like vials of ink and spiritwood planks were before Factions came out. So ya, if my memory is correct, the clay bricks have been in the game a long time now.

There is even a crafter in the ascalon foothills that crafts that.
This has been in the game since release.

Yes I believe that's the Missing Artisan, and you get the quest from Yak's Bend. Been a while since I was there so hope I'm right

Ya they've always had those two types of crafting materials, but it's nice of you to point it out so that all the gamblers in the game can start hoarding bricks of clay and mud for the game that seems to be based on an egyptian flare.

Spiritwood Planks anyone?

Clay Bricks and Bricks of Mud have never had a use. Furthermore, Bricks of Mud are a common crafting material and thus cannot be crafted and they do not drop nor do they appear in the Material Trader's shop, and if you can't get Bricks of Mud, you can't craft Clay Bricks.
