A bit off-topic but I have seen these "god" monk builds in Fort Aspenwood recently. So much fun with necromancer and Gaze of Contempt skill. First I let them to think that they are immortal. Some luxon warriors and a turtle start to beat him like crazy. The monk laughs. I press C and then 8...0mgWtFpWN -> the god is dead. Funny thing is that these guys keep coming back. Probably think they screwed something and try again and again.

I honestly wish the spirit bond never existed. (although i use it like a hooker) its wayyy to easy to tank the crap outa uw with it.

I wouldent mind a spirit bond nerf. make it take away 3 energy per hit.. or have it be easily interrupted.. that would make things interesting again.

if they didnt want to do that they would prolly have to have to make prot spirit take away 2 energy per hit.. or make prot spirits cast time a full second..

Or they could keep goin the way they are goin and make a CHUCK NORRIS skill and have every joker and his mom farming the game like its nothing

better yet just have the mares be level 28 and that would totally discourage most farming. i can see it now.. a 55 or shirtless monk goes into uw and grabs the whole upper deck and goes to wand the 3 mares that pop and.... BAM 11 damage... now yer screwed.. then you would have to rely on the good old rendcast method

Tanking is probably the easiest for Wammos. I pack the normal tanking skills and a few self-heals. My skill bar for all-out tanking is:

Dolyak Signet
Endure Pain
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Mending (Yeah I use Mending, I need some sort of Health regen!)
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Spirit Bond

So maybe the build sucks, it works well for me. Especially when I tank more than 15 monsters at the same time...Which is usually most of the time.

Ya it is not hard tanking the dryders in the ice king mission down in uw... but its not 30 dryders.. and i belive that was a pre nerf prot bond build sno was using.. now its spirit bond that rules the dryders.. i will post my pic of the dryders later on tonight if you guys wanna see that too.. and i can honestly say.. that with a standard prot spirit/breeze monk 55 monk its not possible to 2 man the dryders. unless you have photoshop

In my opinion though the s/b monk dryder thing is even less impressive than the smite/coldie pic though becuase they only metor shower once.. and the rest of the time they are free of interupts.. so its a cake walk.. i will take tookis down with me later tonight and we will get some pics if you guys like.

best part about the dryder run is the keyless chest.. gotta get my crystaline somehow

Yea....i know they wont touch it.....they said something bout never updating proph again...only focused on factions...well at least i got both copies of the game....and soon to be 3...4...5...6...ect..ect...

Don't want to burst your bubble, but Sno (and most other 55 monks that are reasonably capable) can tank that quest without breaking a sweat, using standard 55hp + healing breeze.

I've nearly tanked it with a Me/Mo (no DF bonus) as well.

If you're getting hit by meteor showers at ALL, you're doing something wrong.

Meh... Tanking a Lot of enemys aint really hard at all with Sbond.. its just renew PS + Spirit bond and ull be fine.. dont even need to use Bonettis .. only thing that could be hard would be to Aggro them..

The reason i CHOOSE not to fire spell breaker on the dryders as a spirit bond monk is because the only attacks that the dryders can deal the necesary damage to a bond monk on is the spells like meteor shower.. so why would you take away your only source of healing? and the fact is that both prot spirit and spirit bond have a VERY fast cast time so knockdown is not a problem. if a bond monk chooses to cast spell breaker on the dryders he will definatly die.

I have come close to surviving the entire group of dryders as a 55 monk.. if sno has video on this.. i would love to see it.. cause in my mind its not possible with a 55 as is now.

that is unless you talor your 55 specificly to beat the dryders and take lil weiner pulls all the way up to them so you dont die.. then maybee ya

And if im wrong i guess im not what you call "resonally capable" but its ok becuse you not knowing about not firing spell breaker as a spirit bond monk just made your whole little. i can do it easy and so can everyone else argument total monkey spunk

in my opinion bonnetteis is a must for a spirit bond monk. its just as important to the bonder as it is the 55.

becuase if you think about it only attax and smite activate your spirit bond with there normal attacks. so what do you do when you have a group of 3-5 coldies fireing at ya? well for one you pray they hit you with a malstrom (as crazy as that sounds) and for two.. you keep bonnetties up at all times becuase you dont want the wandings that they do to slowly widdle your life away.

People write off the spirit bond monk as a stupid retard anyone can do it build.. and in truth it kinda is.. but at the same time it can teach you a pretty good lesson in energy managment and aggro managment.

LOL somone will prolly argue with me on this now too.

I know alot of very good 55ers who have never even heard of 600hp monk :O, but they can still tank ALOT of Smites, dunno about dryders though lol =S
