Little boring, I know - but a daedal shield dyed some combination of red/x might work. Darkwings kind of match Elite Kurz on a monk also.

I think a red dyed Aureate Aegis would be sweet, not too expensive either

I would say go for an aureate aegis. They dye wonderfully and look really good. I know it would be a bit metal-ish whatever colour you dye it but i am sure you could get it to a similar colour with the right combination. Although i heard that it looks off-center on female monks and may look odd. It wouldn't hurt to try it.

yeah aureate dyed the right shade of red will look sweet. and its pretty cheap as well

Aureate has a bit of clipping issues, it is at the far right of the screen, really odd, so does darkwing defender
