I'm thinking the platemail is a different tone than knights (templar) and the other metals If anyone has other ideas please post

I looked through the galleries of warrior armor, and none of them are even close.
If you really want to look like Thackeray, use texmod

If it were me, I would try Elite Platemail chest (since it sort of mimics the neck guard), Elite Templar Gloves, the Sturdy Boots, and either regular or elite Sunspear Leggings. It's gonna look gaudy any way you try it though.

Elite platemail has the problem of looking like plastic rather than metal, while the regular platemail has a darker tone than both templar's.
