Default Long Long Random Arena Games - Mass Irony

Well, my stubborness got the better of me today. Heres how it went. My team was on an 8 game winning streak in random arenas. The team we went up against was on a 9 game winning streak. One of their elementalists didn't load at the beginning of the game, so it was 4v3, our favour. We took down their ritualist three times, using up all of their resurrection signets. At this point, we are like woot game over 4v2. But the guys decided to be stubborn, VERY stubborn. They proceeded to run around the outside of the arena (ranger and monk). This was a stalemate, because we had 2 monks and 2 damage characters (my Lightning Elementalist and a Touch Ranger). We just couldnt do the damage to kill the monk while running because obviously the ranger on our team had to be right beside them. Sooo, we ended up just sitting there for over 80 minutes doing absolutely nothing.........

Then someone got the bright idea to roll for the game...yes roll. We decided to roll a 100 sided die, top number wins. Needless to say we won, finally...

But wanna know the ironic part? Our team couldn't advance. Wanna know why? This .

Sooo after wasting 107 Minutes of my life (actually spent it watching tv) we were left but nothing but the thrill of a victory.

Thanks for reading...Cheers!

Photobucket ftl... Convert it to JPG and use Image Shack and you'll be able to see it correctly.

Players in the private instances are not kicked that soon. I think the delay is one hour or something. However, you can't join to new instances when there is an update available.

Yes I know that >< It had already said it earlier, but I didn't get a shot of that . We got the new update thing about 60 minutes into the battle lol.

Longest match I was ever in was during the Nightfall weekend, where an Assassin fought a Dervish to a standstill for about 15 minutes (the rest of both teams were dead, and their rez sigs were used). Probably would have gone on indefinitely, but the sin (on my team) let the dervish win in the end because their team had more wins than we did...

More reason why runners deserve to be hit with large pointy objects.
