Alright I'm gonna walk away from the keyboard now...

Some people scare me, they really do. Nice remark by the way, very clever.

So many people ask me the same question (no, I didn't mean the thong/g-string one ). Most people play games because they want to get away from their social life for a while, not starting a new one during playing, so why ask..?

The other night I saw some guy in Beacon's Perch advertising. When I see something that tickles my funny bone, I like to talk to them about it. Note up front: i am a guy. I don't have screens of the conversation, but it went something like this:

guy: "guild X looking for females to join the guild"
makk: "Why do you want to have girls in your guild?"
guy: "Well, to have some form of balance in my guild."
makk:"I see. But how do you know if your balance is reached? After all, they may be just saying they are girls, but blokes in real life"
guy:"well, they send me pictures, or I trust them. Are you a girl?"
makk:"Well, that's exactly the point. If you can't tell, how can I be sure that I would be in company of females in your guild?"
guy:"eh..."
<small pauze>
guy:"normally it costs 100g to join the guild, but you can join for free"

I'm so lucky, I can join for free. I'm also a bit full of sarcasm .

I can't count how many times I've been asked ASL on GW. Sometimes I like to mess with them a bit :3

Weird, never saw someone actually request girls in their guild.

I had something similar happen. I was playing a female mesmer, and I was out with a PUG in the desert, and at the end of the mission some guy (I assume) complimented me on my doing a good job. I found that weird, because if you aren't specifically watching the mesmer cast, all you see is the mesmer twirling around.

Anyways, the conversation went something like this:

Player: "You did a good job."
Me: "Thanks, I don't get compliments often."
Player: "You really should though."
Me: "Thanks."
*enter Augury Rock and I say my good-byes*

10 minutes later...

Player: (whisper) "Hey you want to hang out sometime?"
Me: "Do you mean to quest?"
Player: "Um, yeah, to quest."

I found that really weird, so a few days later, after the player kept whispering me, I put them on my Ignore list, because I felt like I was being stalked. I think the person thought I was a girl.

Ok, all my chars are female and I am most certainly not. I get asked this question just about everytime I log in. Sometimes just for fun I will ask them if they "want me to be". It is so funny to watch them either run, stutter type, or just log out. The reason why I play the female chars is cause I can't stand the look of any of the male chars. If they (A-Net) spent as much time on the male chars as they did the females I might play one.

Oh my God.... a horny 10 year old! But really, that's really perverted. I've seen that in tons of places, though. They don't have a life, so they cruise online games looking for sex...

Yeah, people like that are pretty bad. I've got a friend who plays a female character, and he gets harrassed all the time. Of course, it's always fun to respond to that question with "thong", and when they ask your age, reply "43".
