They've been doing this for almost 2 years now, I really don't get these henchman, don't they learn...

ANet should really fix this. It might not be a bug, but it's very annoying.

I've had the same problem with my necromancer hero, except he does the same thing with his curses thus depleting his energy. Only after he gets to the point where he uses Offering of Blood will he cast spells properly.

Im afraid it is for some of us. Ive "told" them to attack a target by ctrl-clicking a mob, then, after awhile(not long, about 20-30 seconds), they stop attacking that mob and attack another, without me doing anything! Did thid to me today in Ice Floe when fighting Mursaat. Had them attack monk, I cast a couple spells, then, while Im still attacking monk, they(Devona and Thom) go after a nearby Jade! PLEASE tell us how you "control" them, because I cant count on them doing anything but the "Sit-Stay" when ordered to.

nothing new there.....saw that happen so many times. worse was actually when canthan henchies would fight forever and not rez

When you call a target, an icon appears next to the target-caller's name in your party window. It remains active for 30 seconds, then wears off.

Yes, I know about that, then you press T key to select called target. I have asked tanks to do that when playing my necro, so I can put Mark of Pain on that targe, and SS on another. However, your post tells me nothing. I said I called the target, and it was less than 30 seconds, Beacause my Glyph of Lesse Energy had worn off abount 3-4 seconds before they switched targets, so the 30 second call would still be active. Also, since I was still attacking same target, I cant figure why theyd switch.

That's why I only give my heroes 1 sec casting skills usually. It's quite silly in pvp, when they res like mad.

I have no heros, only Prophecies. No, Im not quite done, its hard to find non farming groups at Sorrows, and havent really seen anyone for Titan Source. Im in no hurry though.
