Default Post your newly black dyed armors/shields/etc.

I was messing around with dye/shield combos today, and noticed that the new, boldened black dye makes a dramatic change when applied to Crimson Carapace shields:

Now, if anyone remembers the old black dye (I wish I took a pic of my old one), it was a mediocre dark silverish color. However, it appears that now black dye is truely black. Anyone else have weapons/armor that look much darker than before?

P.S. - I know that the base color is gray, and I know the dyes are bolder.

They all look darker if you re-dye them...since the base of all armors is now gray and all...

Yeah, I dyed my FoW white, then back to black. WOW it was nice! I wonder how the FDS looks, ja?

Don't close, I'll post mine when I get home. I also have to dye that Crimson Carapace Shield. It looks beautiful black...

Oddly enough, for my ritualist in black dyed Kurzick 1.5k, the newer black dye is actually lighter than the older one. I'll grab a screenshot of the newer version later on tonight when I get home and show.

But for now here's the older one for now (since I don't intend on changing it at all...)
[btw, I only noticed after, but that's our dear Kago in the screenshot if I'm not mistaken, interesting position, lol]

Sorry but unlike the White dye thread, armors dyed back are very common at the moment and there are many examples in our various armor and weapon threads.

I'm closing so, but please feel free to check the forum sticky and post up pictures on those.

Thanks.
