Shiro and the Lich are miserable buggers who hate dervishes. Things get ugly and finally the march of the dervishes comes to a halt.

Ok so things didn't go quite as well as we would have hoped in the end, but we still weren't doing to bad. We had the lich down to about 1/5th of his HP before we started to get wiped out, and up until that point we were handling all enemies mobs pretty easily (including a few mess ups where we aggroed multiple groups). We didn't really have much of a plan for this either (it was pretty much bring your own build and lets see what happens kinda stuff). So just remember, next time you see a dervish trying to get in a group for half an hour, maybe you send an invite. If you don't, just maybe dervishway will be coming for you next.

I think your problem was that you all were around the Lich when he used Life Vortex.

Wait, what? No balthazar or heart of holy flame in any of your skills? that should have wiped mr lich out completely if he was lured properly

I think the nature of these bosses makes an pure dervish attempt inherently doomed. But you did excellent to reach them.

Somehow I wouldn't be surprised even if you would've killed them. I've noticed that my Dervish can kill a lot more things than my Warrior ever could.

I was there with them, from the original group to the "advanced" one with Dunkoro.

Truly, I believe if we had another LoD healer, we could've taken it. Any able-bodied Dervishes around willing to try!?

I kinda took on the roll of healing support (alright a paladin with minimal damage) and didn't particularly have a way to fit in holy damage. 3-4 of the other dervishes were running AoB though.

As you can see from the last shot where I died we kinda got into a bad bottleneck (we should have pushed through) and that was probably our downfall as I think EVERYONE got hit by vortex (with dunkoro going down firstt too, go figure) and we were short on rez.

Oh well, next time!

did anyone say dervishes suck? i remember everyone saying their overpowered or something in some thread...but anywasy nice job. Now get rid of that monk

People are still saying that? Where?

I've heard people say they are balanced now or that they got nerfed too hard but not that they were overpowered. Atleast not since before the PvE preview event.

I think Dervishes are fairly balanced now. They can do more damage then a warrior but warriors still tank better then them and thats before using tactic and strength skills.

During the PvP Event, Dervishes were Gods. Then they balanced there skills and nerfed Mysticism.

hehe i made a ranger for new torment area.. maybe i shoulda made a dervish instead. oh well i can always make another one. i just wanna try trapper team there.
