im not going to waste time explaining why you're wrong. i've yet to see any situation where mending was usefull in pvp.

This was during the test where you have to guide your heroes around to the 3 flags. After you said yes to start the quest, you got teleported on a higher platform where you couldn't get down(This is right outside Kamadan - Training area)
If you didn't want to do the quest, you could ask an NPC next to you to take you down:

Sometimes I don't get people's logic. To do the command training quest, you need a hero. And to get a hero (heroes, I should say) it takes around 10 seconds. So why this person couldn't figure this out completely eludes me. Then I get called a noob. Yeah right >_>... so I decided to PM the dude.

I'm still waiting on that PM, haha... =P
