That’s right! A new competition for those hot sexy girls, who want to be the next Movie Superstar! This competition is different from the ones you have seen here before. This one is based off of movie genres and styles. For example, Action, Romance, Horror, and so on!

With this, I am going to accept 12 and only 12 applications that make it through processing.

With the application, I want everyone to read these rules, and sign off on them in your application, saying you have understood them to the full extent.

Rules:

This competition is for female characters, sorry boys, you guys will get one soon!

There will be no photo editing of any kind allowed on ANY assignment unless permitted to do so. Cropping is allowed and expected.

We require the original screenshot to be submitted along with the cropped version.

All submissions must be turned in before, or on the due time. Anything AFTER, will not be accepted.

Failure to submit your entry, automatically grants you removal from the competition, unless there are technical difficulties, and those difficulties can be proven.

You understand that your submissions will be critiqued, no matter how good, or harsh they are.

You will respect yourself, the judges and the others on the forum around you. Treat others how you wish to be treated, and not otherwise.

These rules are subjected to change or to be added to at any time seen fit.

Contestants will receive up to three (3) warning if they misbehave beyond point. If at all a contestant reaches three, they are automatically eliminated.

If a contestant is banned or removed from the forum, they are also automatically eliminated.

When having a guest in your shot, you must ask their permission, and state their name when your assignment shot is submitted.

Each contestant must sign, and state that they have read and understood these rules. Failure to do so will result in removal from the competition, or a “filed away” application.

Without further adieu, here is the application assignment.

Each applicant is to take a picture of them in their favorite spot. Any area in
all three campaigns can count. With this, they must have a description of why they like this spot, and why they should be chosen as a contestant in this competition!

With this assignment, each applicant must answer this questionnaire.

Which character class do you play the most?

Do you have any Photoshop, or photo editing experience?

Have you ever applied to any of the Contests hosted on Guru, if so which ones?

What is the name of the Character you are submitting into the competition?

What class is the character?

How many armor sets does it have, and which ones?

In which campaign was your character made?

Why do you think you deserve to be in this competition?

whew, strong competition already and the thing hasn't even started yet^^ might try though, you models need some young blood

... meh, I'm going on holiday tomorrow, so I'd have to get this done today... and I probably won't be here when the results get through....is that a problem?

I will be giving those that sort through the application a few days time, 2-3 tops. The ones that make the cut will be announced a couple days after the final due date.

If applicants wish to send in movies with their still shot then yes, they can I suppose.

The basic point of this is like TNTM1&2/TMW. Still frame shots to act as basically, the front of a DVD/VHS(lol?)/Movie Poster Cover.

Good question Pery. As like TNTM1&2/TMW, the face in a shot is important. The headgear could enhance the effect of a shot in some way, but it can also hurt you in another way. If it's a piece of headgear that completely hides the face, then i suggest not using it, otherwise, use at your own risk. :P

Important question: how far is modding allowed? I take it that modding away footprints and auras, maybe even skill effects, is allowed, but what about changing a character's hair colour, tattoos, armor texture etc?

In theory, "dying" a character's hair and enhancing their armor to suit the assignments would only fit with the "actor" theme, but it's not exactly fair to those who don't have expensive editing programs or even the experience needed.

And I've still no idea which character I should submit..

Hmm..interesting question. The fact that the guild wars modding only game around towards the end of the last 2 competitions, makes it harder for me to base my decision.

I believe it would only be fair to those, that don't have the experience in modding the game to not allow it. Modding the character itself could give one person more advantage over the other, just because they edited their game files.

So, I'm going to say, no, just because it wouldn't be fair.
