I partied up with someone and we both went into prophets path yesterday for a little team hunt.
Upon entering, we both had a small download.

Did anyone else get this? I'm sure someone else must have...we definitely downloaded something.

Does anybody have a clue as to what it could have been? I visit the area frequently so it wasn't some left over file that i had yet to pickup.

The monsters appear the same (in the areas that i have checked anyway) but i don't know about the wreckages that litter the valley out there.

[EDIT: I wasn't sure the time/date of an update, just know there was an update because I did have some larger than usual download too. Plus there is a thread about naked people]

I saw it, a lil one, but still noticeable with my V34 dailup internet, yesterday afternoon/evening.

If you had a download of some kind, I can only speculate that you were visiting the area for the first time since it was changed in a previous update and you needed to pull the new assets.

If that was not the case, then honestly, there wasn't anything stealthed in and I have no idea why you might have perceived what seemed to be an update to the mission.

I think it was the update to re cloth the chars as listen on gwonline.net

A small update was made this evening to close an "equipment exploit". Apparently, due to a small glitch, a lot of players' characters were running around naked for a little bit until a new patch fixed the problem.

EDIT: Wow Gaile beat me to it.

Its kinda neat to know that ANet reads customer's threads, unlike Blizzard with WoW. ^_^

i notice that everytime a patch came out, i need to redownload the files for certain areas like crystal desert or lion arch.. etc.

Looks like i'm scratching my head too then. Oh well. Carry on enjoying the game.

edit - yes skullcrasher, i understand from that perspective but i was wondering why i never had to download anything before, since i've visited prophets path millions of times since that armour patch.
It's my favourite place in the world.
