Standard console FPS - 30 (at least they were, might be different with this generation of consoles. I doubt it though). Yeah... I'd rather play the same shooter with upwards of 60-70 fps on my computer.

Only reason to buy a console these days is if you don't know a dongle from a doorknob. Or if you have all of the money you want. Then by all means buy one and have fun. I don't care really what you do with your endless supply of money.

its not all about the Fps, comps always had and will have more fps then consoles, what ur missing is that console games have some games that computers dont, also u dont have to use a keyboard :P

HAVE? o.o; It's a privlage to use a keyboard most of the time. Controllers suck, unless it's a driving game. And FPS DO matter, anyone ever play Perfect Dark for the N64 with 4 players, 8 bots and lots of explosions? I rest my case.

xbox 360, 1-2 games, xbox live goldmembership- atleast $550 atmost $650, my point- ull have a brand new console that can play the games for it for the next 5-6 years (computers usually 1-2 years u need a better comp), and cost less then 1000 dollars- giving u more money to spend on other things :P

Well...considering a couple of the first xbox's got burnt down b/c of some malfunction I won't be buying my xbox360 till they ship the better one...I just can imagine them pulling off what ps2 did.
