Q: What's with the name and tag?
A: Our active members shifted from Kirins of Chaos (our Factions incarnation) to Kirins of Holy Light when Nightfall came out. There is no religious connotation. The tag does say Kirins of Holy Light in Chinese.

Kirins of Holy Light (聖光麒麟) is controlled by Avy Scott and Koreena Anchalis. We are allies of the Kurzick faction and are leader of an alliance containing other small guilds. Our numbers are not large for the simple reason we do not accept any player spamming for a guild. This holds true for the other guilds in the alliance as well. We want to keep it as a close knit guild to ensure the best experience for our members that we can provide.

Our guilds are focused on PvE so our members play for missions, quests, and some farming for neat items. Members tend to join in pairs as we welcome families, friends, co-workers, and parents (but this is not a requirement!). If you are looking for a guild that understands "BRB, have to change the baby!" our guild might be a good match. A warning that the above comment will occur. In Kirins of Chaos/Holy Light there was a baby for Factions and one for Nightfall.

We are looking for members that will make a serious attempt to help us grow and to involve themselves into our group. Our current members do their best to be online and helpful but we do have outside responsiblities. There are members primarily on during the afternoons but most serious grouping still occurs between 9pm and 1 am ET (-5 GMT I believe) when the kids are sleeping. The majority of members are in the US.

Faction farming is not required, the only ones who do so are going for the title.

Guild Activities
As our ranks are small in numbers right now we do not have any set scheduled activities. That will hopefully change as we grow. If members are on we do our best to help each other on quests and missions. Depending on what the weekend bonus is, that is what we will tend to gravitate towards. (If it is a double gold chest weekend I can guarantee you that Koreena will be on as much as she can.) On weekends when more members don't have to be up early we are more likely to attempt trips into UW or FoW if there is favor.

Our guilds resources:
* Guild halls with storage, merchant, and rune trader. They are the only ones members really have a regular use for. KoC (Kirins of Chaos, our previous incarnation) has a skill trainer in their hall for the purpose of easy Signets of Capture.
* Ventrillo 2.1 server. We use this version as it allows for more connections.
* Guild webpage. Our guild wepage will contain information we find relevant to play such as often used builds, guides for trade and salvaging, as well as a list of members and their alts to keep track of who is who.
* Guild Yahoo groups. This is used for members to post screenshots to share or other new tidbits of information.

We are looking for players that:

*Are courtious to others
*Enjoy missions and questing
*Will make a serious attempt to fit into the guild.
*Are willing to help others progress in the game
*Enjoy hunting down bosses and items
*Are social and will join in to guild and alliance chats and activities
*Understand that real life does take prescedence. We pause for baby/kid breaks.
*Do not use leetspeak or abuse the English language. This is important. "U" "O" and "R" are letters, not words.
*Will not beg for money and items.
