Hello to all,

Disturbed Ducks [QWEK] was formed back in July 2006 by a core of like-minded people who were unhappy with their previous guild. We are a Kurzick aligned, European guild consisting of approximately 30 active members. We play mainly between the hours of 6pm to midnight GMT or GMT+1. Our aim is not to be a large guild where nobody knows each other, rather, we strive to maintain a friendly community where people can log on and expect a warm welcome. We are primarily an over 18's guild as we insist on a certain level of maturity, respect and cooperation from all of our members. However, we also appreciate that age is not necessarily a reflection of maturity and have a number of youngsters in the roster who have proved this.

QWEK has interests in both PvE and PvP and the majority of our members have considerable experience in either or both of these areas. However, we will never discriminate between players with more experience and those with less. Whether it be a high-end PvE outing or a trip to HA, if a member doesn't have the necessary skills or experience we will always adapt to fit them in. Win or lose, we want everyone to have fun and welcome members to join in every aspect of the game regardless of experience or ability. We also appreciate that people have real lives and cannot necessarily commit to events of a certain day or time. Thus, whilst we have outings most nights, these tend to happen on the spur of the moment, involving whoever happens to be online at the time. The exception to this is PvP, which at present has a designated slot on Monday and Thursday evenings at 8pm GMT. We have a Ventrilo server used mainly for PvP as and when required.
