Ascending Phoenix market ourselves as a "Mature" European guild. I’ve posted some details below.

-About Us-
Ascending Phoenix are an active, kurzick guild, currently a member of the [fang] alliance. Our officers have a combined experience in leadership that spans many different games over many years. We pride ourselves on being a guild that prizes a higher quality of player not quantity.

Many of AP's core original members come from a MMORPG / FPS background with vast experience ranging from EverQuest, Diablo and Warcraft to Team Fortress Classic, Counterstrike, Quake and Unreal Tournament... and many more

We are a fully equipped Guild with Guild Hall, Cape, Website and Vent.
Our private Vent server and forums are run, owned and maintained by Praxine Medson (Joint Guild Leader).
All of the NPC characters in the guild hall have been bought, thanks to generous donations by our friendly members.

We are primarily focused on Pve play, but have a number of members who are interested in PvP. Our PvE events are focused on elite areas to make our members wealthier and have fun doing it, and also on helping our members through endgame areas and aquiring skills that they can use within elite missions. Pvp wise we do a lot of AB. Any member is more than welcome to either form a guild team or join one.

We're keen to recruit like-minded mature people, rather than throw out invites to everyone!

Due to pre-release difficulties, though we are a European guild, our GW region is actually America for the purpose of competitions.

-Scheduled Events-
Every Monday and Friday Evening - Pve night: Our expert Pve officers guide members through a wide range of activities. These include endgame missions/bonuses on all three continents, Skill Capping, Fow/Uw/Tombs and Sorrows Furnace, as well as Domain of Anguish. We also occasionally venture into Urgoz/The Deep. The most random quizzes on the planet also occasionally turn up during these events, giving members the chance to earn much sought after points on the guild league table, a private, guild member competition also run by the Pve staff.

At AP, we understand that girlfriends/boyfriends/the cat require attention as well, and so we like to keep the weekends free of scheduled events. See, we're not all geeky online gaming freaks. Hmm.. ok, well.. we are.

Aside from scheduled guild events, we generally have a few of our core members on at any one time. They’re all really friendly people and more than willing to help you out. All you need to do is ask!

-Membership Application-
At present, there are little restrictions on our membership, however there are the following few rules which we all abide by:

1) All members must be able to understand and speak good English.
2) Members must be 16+
3) Members must be of a mature nature. We don't mind if you are 16 or 60, just as long as you aren't an immature fool (average age in guild is estimated to be about 25).
4) All members will need vent for scheduled events. This enables us to communicate much more effectively. vent is a free download and our server is already set up. Officers can help guide you through the logging on process. A microphone is desirable, but just being able to hear us is enough.
5) You must commit to being online on a regular basis. Attendance of scheduled guild events is preferred. If everyone participates, everyone gets a lot more out of it
6) You must regularly read our forums and participate in Guild discussion. We value your opinions, so let us know what you think!
7) We all like a laugh while we play, but we draw the line at people drawing rude pictures on the minimap, or starting arguments in guild chat. Acting like a muppet detracts from everyone else’s enjoyment of the game, and officers will take action if such behaviour is observed. Lets keep the guild friendly!
8) Due to the nature of AP's elite mission runs, we require our members to own at least 2 of the 3 campaigns, and to have made significant progression through them, in order to allow them to meet our build requirements. All 3 campaigns are preferred, but not required. Please note that this does not include GWEN.
