Origin If anyone cares.
The Phoenix Band is a reincarnation of an old, albeit small, Guild. A few of the founding members of The Aphotic Legion (founded 6 months after GW's initial release, peeked at 50 members) form the current core of the Band.

Desired Recruits You better believe it.
This is a Guild open for casual players. Hardcore players are more than welcome (provided there are no inner fighting between the castes) to join, and would be encouraged to recruit like minded members.

Essentially, if you like playing Guild Wars and would like to do so with groups or just have people readily available to call for help we would like you to join. From farming to PvP, the goals of the Guild are to provide a fun atmosphere for diverse players. The aim is to help other players get better at elements of the game they may be lacking proficiency in.

Multi-Campaign characters are a plus (I currently have all of them, working on maxing out titles at the moment. Man I wish Survivor and Legendary Defender of Ascalon were around when I had made my main).

Goals Keep it broad and open...
Hopefully we'll be able to rise large enough in number so that players can hop between farming, PvP, PvE, AB and GvG with ease. We want it so that if you wan't to try it out, you can and can do so with people who are friendly and familiar.

Advancement Yea right cause you so deserve it for joining.
Currently, the Band consists of only three members. Of the other founding members of the Legion, only three currently have the time to play the game, though former members (I still have them on my friend's list after all this time) are welcome and will receive honorary Officer status for their former services.

Officer status will only be achieved by players who are active, friendly, and helpful. New players are welcome after all and calling them "noob" doesn't make them any better (though is fun at times, but I digress). As the Band is small at the time of this posting, it may take a while for you to achieve Officer status. I feel it is better that the Band get Officers that are deserving than a random schmuck.

Specifics Its not much but . . .
The Guild Hall (Wizard's Isle) was selected for its similarity to Ascalon before the Searing. As the founding members all started in Prophecies (before it was called Prophecies) it was seen as fitting. If you can't tell by now roleplaying in moderation is okay, and habit forming. I suggest you stay away from it personally.

The Guild Hall has only a handful of upgrades. Currently I'm the only one bothering to dump money into it so it may be a bit before that gets maxed.

We have allied with the Kurzicks because their Elite armor totally beats the pants off of the Luxons, and trees are cool. Beats a beach anyways.

Conclusion Finally this thing is over, I think I got a cramp.
I hope that anyone who actually read all this will have some idea of what The Phoenix Band is all about and what kind of persons we're after. Some players tend to be annoying spazzes so I'll probably end up kicking a lot of people if anyone does try to join. Personal comments were made cause I felt like it so shush about it.

If you feel like joining up, either PM me here on the forums or in game. If you can't figure out my in game name from the thing under my name I may kick you out, so hopefully you look up and at least read it before seeing it at the end of the post.

I haven't let him know, but one of the Officers has just been designated assistant recruiter. For in game messaging send a whisper to either me, "Varthis the Bloody" the greatest guild leader like ever, or my lieutenant "Solvan Tysperra". Yea, I think his name sucks compared to mine too but all well.

Hope to see some of you in game (cliche) if only in the random arenas so I can teach you a lesson for not joining by dying horribly in front of you in such an agonizing way you feel sorry for me and sign up anyways.

Just remember, you get out of a guild what you put into it.
