Team Love [kiSu] Is recruiting Mentors, Anchors, and Mentees.

Team Love was started in December 2007 as part of the Big Brother program proposed by Axiom on the Team Quitter [QQ] forums. Team Love’s purpose is to mentor players at all different levels of play. In the 4 months since we started, our guilds have done over 700 GvGs and mentored nearly a hundred players. Our program includes 3 different guilds to provide appropriate mentoring for PvP players at various skill levels, from beginners to long term veterans. Our guilds include Team Love, Casual Love, and Virtual Love, each within a different alliance and with a different focus.

Team Love [kiSu] is a high level mentoring guild located in the Dark Alley [ dR] alliance along with other highly active GvG guilds such as HGH, NRF, ZFQ. Mentors from top guilds help run matches and show Team Love players the ropes of high level PvP. Players in Team Love also help lead matches and mentor players in Casual Love and Virtual Love.

Casual Love [kiSu] is a practice guild located in the Rebel Rising [rawr] PvP alliance. Players applying for a position in Team Love often will start in Casual Love as they await an opening. Players in Casual Love are expected to be very active and experienced in GvG play, but perhaps need to knock off some rust after returning to the game or require a little more experience to become proficient at certain roles.

Virtual Love [kiSu] is an entry level PvP guild that currently leads a very active PvX alliance. Players in this guild engage in high end PvE and AB, and are given the opportunity to learn the basics of GvG in a relatively low stress environment. Virtual Love requires only a good attitude, high level of activity, and willingness to work to learn and improve.

How It Works

Team Love [kiSu] has between 8 and 10 mentee players on the roster, with no more than two mentees playing in any given GvG match, in a role that they are proficient at. All mentees have considerable experience play at the top 200-300 level, and our goal is to get them to play at even higher levels through interaction with mentors and anchors. GvG matches also include 1-2 mentors, often calling strategy for the team. By participating in Team Love, players learn from some of the top players in the world, in addition to getting a chance to make themselves known in the PvP community.

Mentors

Mentors are players from top guilds who have volunteered to help guide other players in improving their play. Our mentors are from primarily North American guilds such as Dark Alley [ dR], Rebel Rising [rawr], Delta Formation [DF], Not Another Reform [NRF], and Professional Athletes [HGH], with occasional guests from Hawk Smash [ZFG], and Thugz Mansion [ OG]. Mentors tend to be very active playing with their own guilds, but still make time to mentor in Team Love. Current mentors include:

Mentees

Mentees are experienced GvG players who have often toiled away in obscurity. Team Love is designed to give these players experience playing with top players, and thus at a higher level than they have been able to in the past, while also allowing them to get to know some of the top players in the game. The end goal for Team Love is to have mentees improve to the point where they can act as anchors and/or move on to other good PvP guilds. To date Team Love has graduated a handful of mentees who have become core players on other active guilds.

Anchor Members

Anchor players form the core of the Team Love guild and fill in spots around mentors and mentees in each match. Anchors typically are players who have prior top 50-100 GvG experience and have an attitude of wanting to improve as well as helping others to do so.

Ally Recruiting

In addition to recruiting guild members, Virtual Love is also looking for additional alliance members. Currently Virtual Love heads an active PvX alliance that has two very active and large high end PvE guilds with players that dabble in PvP, along with several smaller PvP guilds. We are currently looking for additional like minded guilds to join our alliance.
