Default Virtual Love [kiSu] Recruiting Allies

Virtual Love [kiSu] is the beginning PvP Guild for Team Love [kiSu] and looking for more guilds to join our PvX Alliance.

Background of Team Love Project

Team Love was started in December 2007 as part of the Big Brother program proposed by Axiom on the Team Quitter [QQ] forums. Team Love’s purpose is to mentor players at all different levels of play. In the 4 months since we started, our guilds have done over 700 GvGs and mentored nearly a hundred players. Our program includes 3 different guilds to provide appropriate mentoring for PvP players at various skill levels, from beginners to long term veterans. Our guilds include Team Love, Casual Love, and Virtual Love, each within a different alliance and with a different focus.

Team Love [kiSu] is a high level mentoring guild located in the Dark Alley [ dR] alliance along with other highly active GvG guilds such as HGH, NRF, ZFQ. Mentors from top guilds help run matches and show Team Love players the ropes of high level PvP. Players in Team Love also help lead matches and mentor players in Casual Love and Virtual Love.

Casual Love [kiSu] is a practice guild located in the Rebel Rising [rawr] PvP alliance. Players applying for a position in Team Love often will start in Casual Love as they await an opening. Players in Casual Love are expected to be very active and experienced in GvG play, but perhaps need to knock off some rust after returning to the game or require a little more experience to become proficient at certain roles.

Virtual Love [kiSu] is an entry level PvP guild that currently leads a very active PvX alliance. Players in this guild engage in high end PvE and AB, and are given the opportunity to learn the basics of GvG in a relatively low stress environment. Virtual Love requires only a good attitude, high level of activity, and willingness to work to learn and improve.

Ally Recruiting

Virtual Love is looking for additional alliance members. Virtual Love is a Kurzick guild with 70 very active players and heads a PvX alliance that has two very active and large high end PvE guilds with players that dabble in PvP, along with several smaller, more PvP oriented guilds. Players throughout the alliance are interested having fun doing both PvE and PvP, and we are currently looking for additional like minded guilds to strengthen our alliance even more. We have a dedicated Ventrilo server for use by alliance members, as well as active forums where alliance guilds will be given private forums.

We just have some pretty basic, common sense rules for our guild, and would like to find allies that had similar guidelines for their members:

1. Be respectful. Of guildmates and others, in game, in vent, and on forums. When you wear the [kiSu] tag you represent all 100+ of us. don't trash talk or belittle anyone - no matter how much it might be deserved. Team Love is a community project, and as such I expect we'll set a good example for the community.

2. Be mature. This goes hand in hand with Rule 1 above. Although we don't have a formal age requirement, we do have a formal maturity requirement. All of our guilds are in different alliances, and we play with a lot of different guests. These folks expect a level of maturity and professionalism from our players. Yes we like to have fun, but you need to know where to draw the line when it comes to immature behavior. If you don't know for sure, then you should err on the side of being mature. If someone else has to show you where the line is, chances are you might not get another chance to cross it.

3. Be helpful. Team Love is a mentoring guild. As we have top players helping us learn and grow, we owe it to others to help them as best as we can as well. Do this in game and on forums, with guildies and others. Don't be arrogrant when you try to help, and realize all of us still have a lot to learn.

4. Be active. Activity is what makes any community fun to play with. Because we are spread out across several guilds and alliances, we have to work a little harder to coordinate. But as we have seen so far it's not too hard. To facilitate activity within and between guilds, be on Vent when you are in game, and be active on the forums when you are not.
