Hello!

I've just recently made this brand new guild. Why? Because I want this guild to strike fear into the Guild Wars Community. How? By dominating the Guild Ladder. This has been my fervent ambition ever since I first started playing GW just over a year ago. I've never been able to make it far pvp-wise previously but things are going to change. I feel this is my true calling in GW. And I want a crack band of Mean Green Fightin' Machines who have a passion for GvG and want to win the game, literally. It's time to Carpe Diem (Seize the day

I am recruiting core Euro GvG'ers. Now I am not terribly experienced in pvp, I have no "good" pvp titles but the last guild I was in we reached r400 on the ladder, so I do have some experience. Which was what I ask of you, I am not asking for r9+heros/r3+champs/r3+glads (although if you want to join I would be supremely delighted (^o^) as this would be highly hypocritical of me because I don't have these titles

All I ask is for both newish and older players to have a passion to make it to the top all the while making a group of friends who enjoy each other's company. Although this plebeian utopian view is slightly farfetched, this is what I want in essence.

Although I don't mind if you're a newish player (in fact you're more than welcome) you must have a basic knowledge of GvG/Competitive Play. This means that you must have an understanding of the metagame etc. You must also have access to all 4 campaigns. Although I don't ask for all skills unlocked you must have a good number of skills in your chosen profession unlocked. A minimum of 700k total Balthazar Faction is a good indicator although this isn't compulsory, you have to understand that if you have very little skills unlocked then there's not much I can do and you probably won't be able to join/play. Also, Vent and a working mic is a must. This is also a good indicator to see if you've had any experience in GvG. I don't have a Vent Server up yet but I'm in the process of acquiring one (however if you have your own vent server, welcome aboard! ^^)

As for Guild Play, we will always play a balanced build. I am looking for a full team. This consists of at least 2 Rangers, 2 Paragons, 1 Mesmer, 1 Elementalist, 2 Monks and 1 Runner. If you have any experience playing with one of these professions at a competitive level, then you will likely make it onto the core team. Why did I not mention the Warriors? Well I will be playing the secondary Warr (either the second evisc warr or hammer warr). But most importantly I will be looking for the team leader/caller (Primary Warr) this is a demanding position in which the entire team depends on for battle tactics. Which means a player with good leadership gvg experience is a must. Although I'm not sure if a player like this will want to join a new guild this is the only stringent demand. If I am unable to procure this type of player I will take the mantle of caller. Although I am inexperienced with this I'm sure we as a team can learn together.

Which leads onto my next point. Most if not all of us will be new players and will learn at different speeds, however I will not accept any form of malevolent verbal abuse in my guild be it cultural/racial/homosexual/sexist etc. Which will result in a swift and prominent kick. I do not mind a few immature jokes but if anyone in my guild takes offence to a particular word/message then a kick will be issued. Which means I will accept players who are 17 years or older but if you prove to be mature then I don't mind if you are 12.

Once we have a core team started, we will be playing some social gvg's for the first couple of weeks almost everyday then move onto ranked matches as we get more confident. This means an increase in skill, knowledge of the game and increased communication. Then we'll start tackling daily tournaments, then monthly's then we'll be kicking Rebel Rising's and Dark Alley's virtual asses.
