HMU is a small multiplayer gaming clan looking for people who are interested in a casual and friendly online environment. We play Guild Wars (PvE with light PvP) but also an assortment of other games together. See our Guild Wars Wiki page and our website for more details.

Here are answers to some questions you might have if you are considering joining HMU:

Is there an age requirement?
No. Our members range in age from the teens up, but it does help to be mature and knowledgeable about your computer.

Regarding Guild Wars, do I need to be a certain level or have access to certain areas?
No, HMU is open to anyone who would like to join our community.

Must I play any particular games other than Guild Wars?
Although we play Guild Wars and other games, our primary concern is spending time together. Sometimes we play together, and other times we do things on our own.

Can I be involved with another clan while in HMU?
We would prefer that your only clan responsibility be to HMU.

I can't be online as often as I'd like. Will I be kicked for inactivity?
No, not at all. We have our own lives too, and we understand that some do not have as much time to spend online as others.

I'm angry all the time, and I constantly need to show others that I think I'm better than they are. Would I fit in?
Certainly not. We choose not to include in our lives the additional stress of being overly competitive, insulting other players, or otherwise acting like toddlers. We play for fun regardless of skill level, and we help our fellow members.

Is HMU run irresponsibly by belligerent, untrustworthy, and power-hungry people?
No. HMU was founded in 2005 by two adults, and it is currently administered quite responsibly by two adults.

Translator: I live in the far reaches of an unknown continent and speak a language unpronounceable by humans. Is that okay?
We are based in the Midwest USA (UTC-5), and currently all of our members are American. You will need to speak English on a near-native level or higher, and it would be helpful to live within the continental time zones.

I'm too lazy to read, so just give me the basics. What will I get out of being a member?
You will be part of a community of decent people who spend time online socializing and playing games. You will be treated fairly regardless of your gender, ethnicity, height, weight, middle name, shoe size, or political affiliation. You will be among others with a sense of dedication and friendship. You will be a member of our Guild Wars guild, which is part of a friendly mostly-PvE Luxon alliance.
