The Expedition [XP] – “A different perspective on ‘guilds’…”

The Expedition [XP] takes a different perspective on “guilds” than most other others in Guild Wars that claim “active”, “hardcore”, “experienced” requirements. [XP] is a PvX guild designed for individuals who like to play Guild Wars to simply relax and enjoy the game, playing at their own pace, seeking out their personal goals, and exploring what they self-define as “fun”.

Guild Wars is designed around accessibility and versatility, being able to pick up the game and play it in the style you want, whether solo or in a group. Players should NOT be forced to play a certain way at a certain time with a certain build with certain members during a certain guild event or forever be plagued with guilt if they refuse to do so.

People have various play styles, capabilities, and spurts of casual and hardcore gaming. Therefore, [XP] does NOT require faction farming, title farming, playing with conventional builds, or participation in guild groups, but members are more than welcome to do so if they wish. Members should not feel burdened to do things for others and must never burden others to do things for themselves.

What the guild DOES require is that members do what is fun for them while bringing a supportive attitude to the community. Even in the worst situations, members are able to “shrug it off” and continue gaming on. Though the guild does not demand guild grouping, members are expected to at least communicate in guild chat and on the forums.

If you need members to play with you to get the stuff you need done and give you a reason to have fun and play, there are plenty of other guilds that do that, and so we are probably not for you. If you want a guild that likes talking about gaming (more specifically Guild Wars), is active on forums (such as guild forums, Guru, and others), and want a long-term social community both in-game and out, and onwards in Guild Wars 2, please send us an application. Our members don't need the guild to have fun in Guild Wars; being in the guild just enhances the excitement and enjoyment of playing.

The Expedition [XP] is community of social Guild Wars fans that are not only experienced but are also self-sustainable, able to support themselves in Guild Wars in any situation. [XP] is currently accepting applications for long-term gamer friends within their community.

In addition, [XP] will be in preparation for continuity into Guild Wars 2 as a guild, sharing our amazing first experiences with the upcoming title.
