The “Ice Slayer Clan” [ISC] is an established Guild that focuses on PvE with a tiny dash of PvP. [ISC] has been in high level Kurzick and Luxon faction farming alliances (including HzH), but has since “retired” from formal faction farming requirements. Currently aligned Kurzick, we have 70-80 members and are looking to grow. We are also part of a large, friendly, active alliance.

We are looking for fun, active and mature members that want to stay and chill!

ACTIVE means those that play on a regular basis, preferably daily or every other day. Current practice is to remove players that are inactive for more than 1 month. The goal is to reduce this period to 1 week.

FUN means you need to be willing to participate. That means using VENT, Web Forum and Calendar Events. Maintain a relaxed atmosphere, play nice, be open-minded and maybe treat the Guild as a family. Of course you must behave in a mature manner!

MATURE means, among other things, you don’t spend every other second proclaiming others to be noob, lame or idiots. This is a game, so play the game, support your fellow members.

CHILL means, yes, you would like to stay with and be loyal to the Guild. Relax, participate, and enjoy the game. Stick around, Guild Wars 2 may be released some day!

Mainly US EST based, Ice Slayer Clan has UK/EU and other International members and Officers. We intend to be available thru evening hours as well as during the day, thus are open to International based players. Ice Slayer Clan features our own high quality VENT server, web-based forum, a full (and sometimes changing) Guild Hall, and the ever cool Guild Cape (also, something we change now and then).

Current focus areas for the Guild are elite PvE areas and dungeons (such as team Vanquishing, FOW, UW, The Deep, and Urgoz), Z-elite, Zaishen Quests, Zaishen Bounties, AB, JQ, GW Holiday event participation, Titles, The Traveler, faction farming for Titles, material farming, and anything new or challenging.

We will be sponsoring districts for the Canthan New Year, because we keep the Chefs happy!

Future areas we would like to add include Zaishen Combat (including casual GvG), Zone Runners, Mission Runners, and Domain of Anguish (DOA).

Ice Slayer Clan is not restricted to canned builds, meta teams or the same old thing. Most of the core players have been to every corner of every campaign. If you don’t see us doing it, then get involved and see where it leads. Ice Slayer Clan can offer a “safe haven” for mature members that want to play the game. Can't wait for GW2? We plan to stick together regardless of which game we play! You only get out as much as you put in. Be active, participate, and stay flexible. Need a run, mission help or want to try something new? Bring it up, make suggestions, but be prepared to have patience if no one else is interested at that time or on that day. In short, come join the fun!

You need to play well with others, because we do a lot of that. We aren’t prudes or snobs, just expect a certain level of maturity. This means no drama of any kind, trolling, spamming, flaming, improper language, harassment, or disruptive or disrespectful behavior. Nuf said.
