Talking Just Smile And Nod [PMS] needs vocal players for casual GvG/HA during US playtimes

Just Smile And Nod [PMS] is a newly formed guild. Since most of our friends are Euro or unavailable, we're looking to get enough people for GvG/HA during US evenings and weekends.

Positions we're looking for:
Flexible frontline (must be comfortable calling and splitting)
Flexible midline (including Para as secondary caller; must be comfortable splitting)

The guild will play casually--mostly during the weekends and one or two nights during the weekdays--and run mostly spikes, splits or balance; our GH atm is Warrior's.

Ideally, this guild would be for people with full-time jobs or a busy schedule, but who still aim to play well. We expect playtimes to be around 8.00 or 9.00PM PST on weekdays and most of the weekend.

No rank is required, but we absolutely expect you to do the following:

1. Have vent+mic and use it - Regardless of your position, you need to be able to communicate; this includes saying when something is pressuring you, when something is splitting, when you're splitting, when you can't assist, etc.

2. Have a brain and use it - We'll expect you to be able to think for yourself to some extent. If you see an opposing flag being run and we're behind, call it and start blocking. If there's a clusterf*ck of people on altar in HA and you see the war use ES, drop those heats. If you're under pressure, don't camp your 40/40.

3. Be fluent in English - In order to play well, we'll all need to communicate to and understand each other effectively. Most of our members are American, so we need members who speak and understand English well.

4. Don't rage or place blame - sometimes, things just suck. Don't rage and start pointing fingers at who you thought did something wrong. Start with a reflection of the match and constructive criticism of what you and others can do better.

5. Explain your point of view - If you don't agree with certain strats or builds, we'll need you to explain your reasoning. If you can't, we won't be able to really understand what we can do to address your concerns.

6. Be willing to learn - We'd rather not have people who go from match to match without reflecting. Usually, half the match is decided before the gates open, so we'll expect our members to contribute to post-match reviews and pre-match prep. In this guild, we hope to learn something from every match we play. We'll encourage you to obs our past matches, obs tournament matches and provide critique and insights on tactics and strats.

If this guild's goals seem like a good fit for you, PM me here or in-game: Yun Chae Eun.

You can also PM one of the officers in-game: Red Goes Backline

Thanks,
Yun
