What are we about?

We are a guild of Virtues, Teamwork, Friendship, and all around enjoyment of the Guild Wars universe.

Our Mission at POET is to have fun and grow closer as a guild as we explore and expand across the world set before us, and to do so with Honor and Integrity.

Success chases upon the heels of honor and sculpts the time to elevate greatness. Will you be a part of that success? Join us, and you will.

What sets us apart?

As a guild we are strongly guided by certain virtues. Virtues we believe sets us apart and bonds the guild together into a Guild Wars family of sorts. We also believe that our actions and our attitude should reflect that of respect and honor. As such we have never been a large guild, but we have ALWAYS been a guild of high quality people as well as a guild that highly values teamwork and getting to know each other. A guild is made of people, and the best part of being in a guild is getting to know those people and becoming a close knit group of friends setting forth together to overcome the challenges set before us within Guild Wars and most of all having fun! I guarantee this is not found in just your average guild.

Virtues of [POET]
Respect– Being considerate and courteous to others in language and actions, and acknowledging that others may have different opinions, beliefs, and outlooks than your own. We want to ensure a comfortable, relaxed, easy-going, and light-hearted atmosphere.

Honor – Prudence to judge between actions with regard to appropriate actions at any given time. Constant mindfulness of others and one's surroundings; practicing self-control. Living true to your word. If you say you are going to do something, do it. Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no.

Integrity - Upholding standards at all times, especially when no one else is watching. (You represent not just yourself but the entire guild). Keeping personal and private information (gossip and rumors) out of the guild and alliance.

Loyalty – Showing dedication and giving back to the guild, whether offering to help others, making efforts to be available for guild activities, participating on the forums on the website, providing suggestions for guild activities, etc.

Kindness – Making efforts to get to know other members in the guild to help create a close-knit guild community, which includes welcoming and greeting other members, conversing and/or joking around in chat, encouraging others.

Teamwork – Helping out other members on quests or missions, offering others to join you. Encouraging others if things are tough or the quest or mission does not go as planned. Guild teams ROCK!
