Who we are

The Heaven Seal is a mostly PvE Kurzick guild dedicated to helping new players. We are always ready to help out with missions, quests, farming, and whatever else you may need. Our leader and officers have explored most of Tyria, Cantha, and Elona and are always willing to help.

If you're not new but still looking for a good friendly PvE community, try joining our allied guild, Phoenix Seal. Contact Nathel Averias, Stelmina Winter, or Xandair Frostfire for details. Or, if they're not on, just contact an HS officer.

Our Philosophy

The Heaven Seal is dedicated to teaching new players about Guild Wars. Our experienced players work with newer players to give advice, answer questions, and come along for quests and missions. As new players learn more about the game, they are equipped to help even newer people by offering the knowledge they have gained from us, and we encourage them to assist others. Over time, players will (hopefully) rise to the level of experts who will be able to help just about anyone else. Although HS is a guild for new players, we certainly hope that people will not leave once they become experienced; ours is a guild for just about everyone.

Who We Are Looking For

We are currently building our membership. Our rules for guild members are as follows:

* You must be 16 or older, or have someone in the guild who can vouch for you.
* No swearing or offensive language allowed. Even if you don't find something offensive, if someone asks you to stop because they are disturbed or upset by what you said, please stop. As a general rule, keep things rated PG-13 and try to avoid extended references to sex, drugs, disparaging religion or politics, etc.
* If you go a month or more without logging in, we reserve the right to kick you. However, if you let us know you plan to be away, we'll save your spot, and you can always rejoin if you get kicked for inactivity.
* Officers are chosen based on the guild's need for officers and on the chosen member's qualifications. These qualifications include, but are not limited to: activity, friendliness, helpfulness, knowledge about the game, length of time spent in the guild, and maturity.
* Weekly events are not required to attend and are for fun only, but if you want to come to an event, you should sign up on the Event Schedule tab by the Wednesday before the event. Events are every Friday (challenge areas like the Underworld and the Fissure of Woe) and Saturday (EOTN dungeons) unless there are unusual circumstances. When signing up for an event, you should say what character/characters you plan to bring and make sure those characters are able to access the area we'll be going to.
