ESP is returning to open recruitment status as we make preparations for GW2

Who We Are:

Our guild will turn 7-years old on June 18 of this year. In the time since our inception we have accomplished just about anything that one can imagine in this game, including being named a Guild Of The Week, a Guild Wars Notable Guild, holding the Hall of Heroes, helping our members complete the Hall of Monuments; as well as some things that most would probably not imagine, like hosting in game festivals that have to do with pants and platypi.

While we are a committed and well-organized guild we like to have fun and not take things too seriously. We strive to be unique and separate ourselves from the rest of the pack with our offbeat humor and our willingness to try almost anything if it is good for a few laughs.

Our member base includes players from all over the world and we use that diversity as a strength. We encourage interaction in our community via a wide range of hosted events, and by making heavy use of our ventrilo server and our guild web site/forums.

Currently we lead our own Kurzick alliance, which serves to provide us a larger player base with which to interact and organize activities. [ESP] takes up two slots within the alliance, as we currently have around 160 guild members. We have been taking part in GW2 since the first open beta and are actively planning to move our guild into that game. All of our members in GW1 have an open invite to join us in GW2.

Who You Are:

Our rules are simple because we are careful about who we recruit, thus eliminating the need for us to have to explain to people what is ok and what is not appropriate. Our aim is to play and have fun without all the unnecessary hassles. We are an 18+ guild and we look for people who are easy going and fun to be around and who have a very strong interest in socializing and taking part in activities with our members when they are able. We are not hardcore: some of our members play on a daily basis and some drop in once every week or so when they are free. We have people who have played since the first GW Beta and some who are brand new or else just coming back to the game after a long hiatus. We have some extremely talented PvP players and some people who shiver at the very thought of going into GvG. The main focus is that whatever we do, or wherever we are, we are a highly unified community of players who support and help each other while sharing in the relaxed atmosphere and the resources that this guild provides.
