Default Reshaping Reality - Comunity and GW2 Guild

Reshaping Reality ~

Welcome to Reshaping Reality, a dedicated GW1 and GW2 guild. This is where your legend begins….We are focused on all aspects of the game, including PVE and PVP, but we don’t mind goofing off in our down time, too—whether its glitch-searching, wall-humping, ale-drinking, Norn-slaying, Sylvari-burning, Charr-hunting, Asuran-stomping, or WvW-ing. Our guild has been around for quite some time, and our officers are uniquely skilled in various aspects of the game, so whatever type of gameplay you’re looking for we’ve got. We try our best to keep our environment helpful and friendly, but there are some requirements to become a member: fill out an application for our consideration or private message an officer if you have any additional questions

Reshaping Reality is a PvX guild committed to creating a devoted group of gamers that can get things done while having fun. Our long-standing members are experienced players and can help anyone that requests for help in either Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2. We have leaders setup in every play format: to help construct organized teams, manage strategies, and develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of the game. We hope to claim supremacy and dominance in all that Guild Wars has to offer while still being able to train newcomers so that they, too, can participate and become successful in the game—whether they seek success in combat, crafting, exploring, or whatever else might interest them.
In addition to veteran players, we also have administrative personal in place to keep everything clean and smooth; we want our members to find everything suitable and to their utmost liking. Our forum will be constantly updated with information about the game and will include a database of helpful strategies, tactics, and guides. We plan on hosting regular guild events and tournaments that our members can compete in for in-game prizes, including gems and gold. Our ranking system is designed to make members feel like they are part of something—that they can work up the “ladder” system and endeavor to earn higher, more prestigious, ranks. Awards and medals will be bestowed to people who receive favorable reports from fellow members; these players will be rewarded accordingly. As we continue to grow and branch out across the Tyrian frontier, our guild staff will strive to supply our members with the best tools we have at our disposal, creating the best player environment we can possibly offer. We look forward to your contributions to our guild, as well, and hope you will attempt to seek enrollment in our private forums and make use of our elaborate ranking system. We are open to advice and suggestions: if there is a role you think should exist but doesn’t, make a suggestion to one of our higher ranking members—we want everyone to feel that they have a unique niche in the guild.

Teamspeak is probably the best way to get noticed if you’re interested in moving up the ranks, but even if you’re not…it’s downright the best way to connect with people. Communicating over the keyboard is one thing—connecting with people over voice chat is a new experience entirely. And we want to make sure you have that opportunity. Our dedicated Teamspeak server is available for you at all times as we want you to feel like you’re getting the attention you deserve. Everyone is welcome to join us. No man shall be left behind. Over Teamspeak we will get the exclusive chance to really learn about each other, making our guild that much stronger…that much more connected.

How many of you are excited about competing in WvW? I know we are! For those of you who don’t know, WvW is a type of hybrid PvE / PvP environment, where massive mobs storm keeps, shoot giant boulders from handcrafted trebuchets, and charge mindlessly into battle against other equally senseless hordes. It’s actually a bit more strategic than that, which is why we will be having both open and closed groups. The purpose of having both types of groups is to ensure that everyone who wants to participate can, whether you want to play competitively or casually. WvW will be organized by a Team Leader and his staff; they will be responsible for recruiting members to the serious, more dedicated, WvW teams and providing learning sessions to any player who wishes to receive specialized training. The Team Leaders have authority to give ranks to members that are active participants, which will help when distributing tasks during actual WvW events. They will also be accountable for building and executing strategies, submitting information that will be used in WvW guides, and contributing to and maintaining the WvW forums. Consequently, all of our information will be as current as possible, allowing us to keep everyone up to date and provide players with roles that suit their unique style of play.
WvW will be a constant activity. Information about the guild’s whereabouts in the WvW map will be consistently updated; players will be kept informed of which keeps we are holding at any given time and what our current objectives are. Teamspeak channels will be set up for the various participating groups, helping to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. There will be official WvW representatives observing the players in our competitive WvW teams; they will be able to promote / demote players according to their participation in the events. You can look forward to this and a lot more in the WvW category of our guild.

PvP will follow the same basic infrastructure we have set up for WvW—there will be open teams available to all of our members and there will be closed teams reserved for players who take PvP more seriously. We want causal and hardcore players to feel equally welcome, which is why we have things set up this way. Members who wish to compete in the closed teams will have the opportunity to “tryout” in the open training sessions. In the event that a player gains admittance into one of the closed teams, he will be required to attend private training sessions. The only real difference between the public and private training sessions is that the private ones will be required and they will focus on learning and executing specific strategies. In other words, you will not be at any real disadvantage if you don’t make the closed teams—you have equal opportunityto receive the same training. The strategies developed by the closed teams will be posted in the forums for everyone's viewing pleasure. PvP tournaments and events will be scheduled periodically, with prizes being awarded to the victors. PvP teams get the chance to experience having their own dedicated Teamspeak servers, their own private forums, and their own individual ranking system. People participating in the hardcore/closed PvP teams can also look forward to official sponsoring from the [RR] Community, we will make sure you are suited up and correctly nourished for any tournaments that the close teams get invited to participate in. You can look forward to this and much more in the PvP world while in RR.

Are you a serious PvE’er, the kind who’s always prepared to take on high leveled bosses and lead fellow adventures unwittingly into the unknown, or are you content with wandering aimlessly around the lands of Tyria, conversing with the town drunk and a few misty-eyed travelers whom you've encountered at the local tavern, hollering about the last time you fooled around with the infamously ugly Olga Ingrid-Boffer at a nearby brothel? Either way, we’ve got your back—and we don’t mean in the way Olga had yours. PvE is all about having fun and making friends, but we can work with you even if you’re the kind of person that took the show “Friends” seriously. So never fret, whether you be role-player or eternal vanquisher, RR is still the place for you. We will be triggering complex dynamic event chains daily to kill bosses for their loot. Our PvE officers will regularly update the forums with meaningful information to assist within your journeys throughout the world.

Exploring will be a big thing in RR, which is why it has been defined as a completely separate category from PvE; it will consist of traveling through the zones to grab all of the Waypoints, discovering each point of interest along the way, and completing the “heart” quests. Each party will comprise of a leader who is familiar with the area and has already unlocked said Waypoints. Strategies, guides, and mapping information will be posted on the forums, detailing the quickest routes one can take. Members who contribute to this well of knowledge will be rewarded. Explorers will have their own channels in Teamspeak in addition to their own ranking system and designated forum. They are also encouraged to work with other groups that can gain from their expertise, such as Crafters and PvE’ers, since Explorers are essentially the frontiersmen of the guild and will have better knowledge of how the flow of the map works.

Marketing will be focused on generating in-game revenue. The marketing group will have its own Teamspeak channel, forum, and ranking system. It will be administered by an experienced leader of the art. Members of this category can look forward to being able to talk and discuss with others like themselves about trading and marketing. Guides and strategies will be posted in the forums as well as a database of item prices, which will be available to everyone within the guild. Members who make contributions to these guides will be rewarded accordingly. Marketing in RR includes selling and buying items from the market and using it to turn a profit. This will be one of the most lucrative aspects of our guild in terms of creating in-game money, but it will also require the most skill, dedication, and a specific skill set.

Not much of a PvP’er, but too hardcore to save petty villages from endless Centaur raids? We’ve got just the thing for you—dungeons. Dungeon Running in RR is simply the act of running through dungeons with organized teams and preconceived strategies. The loot earned from this activity is as equally rewarding as the experience of tearing a dungeon apart with your fellow guildmates, so be sure to try it out. The Dungeon category caters specifically to hardcore gamers, but don’t be intimated to join a raid even if you’re a softcore player. As with the other categories, teams will be composed publicly and privately; they will have their own Teamspeak channels; and they will have their own dedicated forum and ranking system. Members of this group will post guides and strategies that pertain to the numerous dungeons, and they will be paid for their services. Daily Dungeon Runs will be organized by the category leader, and everyone will be permitted to participate. Private teams will exist for those who intend to do Speed Clears of the dungeon, but otherwise this will be a mostly public activity. If you decide you enjoy Dungeon Running and would like to be admitted into one of the Speed Clear teams, contact the category leader.

Even the most battle-hardened heroes need down time—what better way than to grab a hammer and head over to the anvil (if you’re still spent from the brothels, that is)? Crafting will be a viable part of the RR economy. Category leaders will be responsible for providing members with basic information on how crafting works, submitting detailed guides to the forums, and organizing events where players can meet and craft together. There will also be Gathering Sessions, in which players will venture out into Tyria to collect their desired crafting materials. Gathering Sessions can be synergized to work with the Explorers, who will lead groups of Crafters to the closest locations containing materials ripe for harvest.

New categories for the guild will be added as the need arises. We are currently looking for qualified members to lead these categories; they will have access to anything that they need to be able to fulfill their tasks successfully. These categories will take time to get up and running, but when they do, it will be a great system. Remember that if you’re active, you will be rewarded. Active members will gain access to higher rankings quicker and put in a place of more responsibility if they so desire. Be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel for visual guides, and follow us on Twitter for news on all things RR related. We also have a calendar that members can use to view upcoming Guild Wars 2 and RR specific events. Be sure to add your character information, upload videos and photos in their designated areas if you wish, and stay active in the forums, which will continue to evolve to fit whatever your needs may be.
