Default [Pre-Searing] Chests in Northlands

As many are aware of, the Northlands area (where the Pre-Sear Charr area) has some chests that are empty and have seemingly no purpose.

I decided to make a thread about them. This includes discussing their locations (4 found so far), and any purposes they might have. I do think they have some purpose (would be very strange to put a bunch of chests that do nothing), it's just that we haven't found it yet.

According to one theory, opening all chests (with or without right order) opens either/both of the big closed doors in the Northlands. To this extent, opening all 4 chests I'm aware of didn't do that.

Another theory says opening one/some/all chests revives the healer monk at the start of the area, if she's dead. While feasible, this theory hasn't been tested yet. If someone wants to try it out (get Charr to kill monk, then open chest/chests and see if she comes back), please post results.

Below is a picture of all chest locations on the map that I know of. If anyone knows any OTHER chest locations, please tell, as it would obviously mean I haven't opened all chests, so neither theory can be fully tested.

If you have any information, or your own theory of what these chests do, please share it as well.
