Default Plot Question *Spoiler*
I just finished the mission with the floating eye and the chosen, but when I talk to someone outside of the area that it sent me to I get the option of accusing him of being a murderer and confronting him with what he did to "those poor villagers". I must have missed something in the cutscene, because I didn't notice anything bad happening, despite the obvious rule that any seemingly-benevolent religious order must be evil. Can someone tell me what happened?

Um, so you missed the whole scene where the White Mantle guards leading the Chosen through the woods are ambushed and cut down by the Shining Blade?

I caught that, I just didn't notice the White Mantle itself doing anything particularly evil
